@vanhuvanhuvese27384 ай бұрын
@@skystreem4860 the body is designed in Zimbabwe so are trhe parts however some of the parts there are standard non copyright designs and already on the market like the engines so you make minor changes and manufacturing locally also Zimbabwe produces steel locally and to some extend you can say its one of the top 5 most industrialized countries in Africa .South Africa manufactures completely from scratch but those are european and western brands ie toyota benz etc.I only disagree with him open branches all over africa before he gets 10% of the zimbabwe market he is wasting resources and time
@skystreem48604 ай бұрын
@@vanhuvanhuvese2738 so South Africa predominantly assembles rather than manufacture cars, but if he wants to get this right, he doesn’t need the government support because here’s the thing even in America local vehicle industry is protected by policy whereby there is 100% tariff on foreign import cars this helps companies like Ford, GMC, Buick, Dodge and Tesla as a consequence, and an example of the government not helping is like in Nigeria there are two auto makers in Nigeria that are struggling to get by because of lack of support whereby instead of leading by example politicians are out there spending public funds buying luxury exotic cars, even if the local industry has the capacity to produce just as much quality, they don’t even do anything as far as policy is concerned, and also bank can be your best friend sometimes when you’re going to open a bank account or on college and university campuses some banks set up tent or a kiosk for people to join their company as customers and if you’re interested, you could put a deposit down on buying one of the cars that might be on display better deal. These are just some two key things that can factor into a brand success but if this brand wants to succeed, they are gonna have to shake some serious hands with some OEMs
