ZIMELE MMF | What Happened to the Zimele Money Market Fund?

why are people complaining about the title yet I've been seeing the same exact question frequently on social media? if you have an mmf account with zimele and hadn't noticed it's no longer listed on mmfs, then it shows you don't even monitor your investments. The video was made 3 weeks ago, zimele has been missing on mmf lists for longer than that? How/why were people getting shocked after seeing the title?

Many investor don't follow up on the Financial Reports from the fund managers. Zimele closed mmf accounts in 2021 and commuted them to fixed income fund. All info was in the audited accounts but investors don't read the Financials.

There is nothing wrong with the title. This is the exact same question many of us with accounts with zimele have been asking now that they NEVER communicated to us about the switch. Thank you for this information.

Thank you for doing this video. It's a shame that Zimele hasn't done something similar despite me reaching out to them as their client and telling them they need to do a KZbin outreach like this to make us understand what happened. I will still move my money because of their laissez-faire type communication style. Surely they know money is an emotional and paychological issue.

honestly my heart sunk when i saw Fixed Income instead of MMF that God for this guy. I have an unrelated question i bought 100 worth of stocks last year and100 this year of company X i though this totals to 200 but in my portal & CDSC statement still shows 100. Could you possible explain this i do acknowledge you are very informed in financial literacy.

Hey, 👋🏽 Good to hear from you. In your CDSC statement it should be able to capture the real position hence capturing the actual number of shares bought in total. Are you sure the buy was successful? Please pick it up with your broker and ensure you have transactional receipts or reports to follow up with. This is supposed to be updated promptly once the transaction is completed

I have not watched this video and had to first read the comments, Your title is misleading and very alarming to anyone who has invested with Zimele MMF. If you wanted attention for your video, you got it. But please be conscious of the investors and use a title that will help you gain trust with your audience not cause a heart attack.
