Que disco tan brutal, desde que comienza hasta que termina... Una obra del Power Metal

It brings me such joy to look in the comments and see that others listened to and discovered Dark Moor in highschool! You are guys are so unbelievably awesome ♡ I would have discovered them in 2004, and this may have been the very first song of theirs I heard. It's certainly remained a favourite, if my not my top one ♡ Oh! Just wanted to edit this comment to say, to any fans of the original singer Elisa Martin and two other members that were there from the beginning too; please check out their band Dreamaker :) It's wonderful ♡

You don't lie, you don't fight Don't people see the light you don't gaze the mean face don't try to pray just to save your illusions to save your shame now your life is impregnated of blame please help me, or kill me but don't bury my soul i'm dreaming, i'm screaming full of grief i'll be condemned without mercy without a soul buy i've a nice hope [Chorus] The wind in my hair the sun under my veil i'll go though the road is hard and long thousand of questions and only one answer My anger is in the heart of stone I'm sneaking, I'm Creeping i'm needing all my faith I'm sinning i'm learning full of grief i'll be condemned without mercy without a soul buy i've a nice hope [Chorus] Don't hit me, don't save me What is my destiny? I'm sighing, i'm crying full of grief i'll be condemned without mercy without a soul buy i've a nice hope [Chorus]

One of their best albums IMO. I don't hate Alfred, but Elisa's voice is so awesome.

1) on the DF argument, there's no real legitimate reason to hate them. They were a gateway band for me, like a lot of people. And really, they're cool dudes making cool music. Let's all remember our true foe here. Justin Bieber. 2). on the actual SONG. These lyrics are some freaking poetry, and I love it. An awesome story of sin and punishment, and the importance of forgiving yourself. Dark Moor is great.

Asriel Dreemurr I'm not gonna lie, recent Dragonforce is much better than early Dragonforce. I honestly believe people hate them because of Guitar Hero.
@actuallyasriel7 жыл бұрын
yeah like honestly the entirety of inhuman rampage was :/ but there's a lot to enjoy on their more recent albums as a guitar hero streamer i both agree and disagree with that last statement, ask a head they'll say they fell in love with DF because of GH ask another head they'll say they'd be better off never hearing TTFAF as long as they live (and i'm kind of in both of these boats) also @ 2014 me what the fUCK is that "let's remember our true foe here" BS??? go do your homework we're dyin' over here
@FIRE-LOTUS7 жыл бұрын
Indeed Dragonforce did make way for casual American audience to discover power metal. I am certain that Dragonforce did help pave way into making more power metal fans. However, from my experience, you have the music elitist and they hate DF and their fans because of a video game, instead of finding it on their own. I guess the haters have that sense of pride and to an extent I can see their point of view because TTFAF is the only power metal song that gets attention. Other underrated songs and other power metal bands still haven't got the recognition they deserved around that time, and so the haters probably developed that hate especially on the fans who commented saying they like it. After all, I believe they are the most popular power metal band out there still, it's like the hardcore thrashers are sick and tired of hearing Metallica all the time, in a sense. Now if I am talking about DF from a musical standpoint, people who got into them because at that time they think "Power metal" is the most unique damn thing ever, and I am not going to lie . . . DF as a whole was unique and they're not exactly what you call a traditional power metal sound either. They are still unique, just from the structure, the use of instrument (keyboard soundbank) and the Pacman noises that Herman be making (which both the keyboardists and the guitar players haven't been abusing too much lately). It really is unique but at the same time I can see that being a turn off to the hardcore metal fans, because it's not "heavy" or just the usage of the sounds just doesn't appeal to them. While as the speed, the amount of shredding and too melodic is just a minor side of the complaints. All in all, I don't really hate DF but I can appreciate what they have done and accomplished, despite not being their biggest fan or anything. When it comes to power metal I prefer bands like Galneryus, Stratovarius, Angra, Dark Moor, Rhapsody, Kamelot, Concerto Moon, Symphony X, Holy Knights and pretty much any neoclassical because that goes hand to hand with power metal.

DragonForce is usually the reason people get into power metal. If not for DragonForce, I wouldn't have found all this amazing music honestly. I very rarely listen to DragonForce any more, but if new songs come out I will listen to the songs for a week and return back to the good bands. I pay my respects to the band who introduced me to this eargasmic music genre.
