Great matches! The kicks being so disjointed as they are really makes me wish they'd try to improve netcode, though i understand primarily this is a single player game. Beyobd that, you handled the zimmers really well, especially on the second map. That dance around the bridge was beautiful.

Over a decade since Dark Souls, and FromSoft still doesn't hire net programmers competent enough to construct a decent net code for games with online PvP. I mean, why bother making online PvP if you're just going to focus on PvE above all else? 😅

@@GawainW its a nice addition, but the pvp aspect does need a bit more of a focus. It would be nice if they hired someone to spruce up the net code for an update. In the mean time, im just using rj legs to assist with dodging the netcode shenanigans.

I want to hear the rationale for Zimm having no downside when it fires besides a small delay but being able to extend a stagger.

Zimm is still strong 🥲 But if I can choose between fight Zimm or Evil Statue or Neo-TokuRobo I will choose to fight Zimm. ZimmShield require skill to play, especially ZimmShield player in this video is quite good with this build. Fighting skilled player and lose to them is much more fun than fight stat-checked build

I really don't know how to fight any close range meta builds without being meta myself, there's little to no counter if you can't out stagger them, which is near impossible because you can't even get out of their range.

​@@FeelGood-AC as part of the fgc, one glaring difference with fighting games and AC is fighting game characters have various tools for different ranges all the time. It's just a matter of how fast or slow the move is and when to use it. In AC, you have to pick and choose what tools you want to bring and you're stuck with it for the whole match. Tools for different ranges is not readily available unless you equipped it, with movement techs the only means to compensate.

I like zimm shields for what they are. they're cool. but it's way cooler to see someone beat them with a bit of off-meta

Basho Zimm Ocellus (BZO) is still very strong, the santai nerf though makes them lose automatically against rats/lamm

Do you think Zimms need a direct nerf? Or do you think there's an indirect way to make them a bit less everywhere? I mean personally I think by the very least they should have to put more thought on what arms to use instead of getting away with using BASHOs, the one of the best arms for melee, but obviously designed to be one of the worst for firearms.

Making a range spread shotgun with more bullet velocity than lasers was totally nonsense in my opinion.. they just need to nerf that bullet velocity and that will be good.

@@SuperDarkmasterX Weight must a hell lot heavier, slower velocity, and either the stagger or damage must be heavily nerfed, this weapon just made no sense in a balancing stand point. Literally every non-meta build I've had instantly became a banger when I swapped just one Zimm in, let alone two.

AB bonus having +20% extra impact and -30% impact received while AQB having no cooldown is the main reason why people would just use AB and brainlessly run anything with ocellus or AB to runaway aka ratting, AB is also the reason why heavyweight is so dominant and piss easy to use. Honestly speaking, I think zimms having a bit more range than the other shotgun is fine but why the heck does the impact and the projectile speed are so high ? but on the other hand if we were to nerf the close range and rat playstyle then we also MUST nerf lamm. But the craziest part is when we try to talk about balancing the game so that it's not just close range brawl fuckfest or missile spam BS there is a quite big community out there who disagrees and want to keep the game AS IT IS while embracing the META, quite sad tho.

@@lexycore1570 The close range brawl atm is just so damn boring, the funniest part is, with the last couple of "balancing" patches they had basically just made more weapons that does pretty much exactly the same thing.

Don’t AB away. AB in, and around them. Zimmerman players are stupid enough to fall for what I call the “Seesaw Maneuver”. They go up? You go down. You see them coming down? AB up and around them as they fall. You did it for a second, but I normally catch dudes like this in a loop with that maneuver. I’d also be using your AB for a lot more shit, but that’s just me.
