Thats funny. France couldnt score a real goal in the semi or final of 2006. Henry dive against portugal and malouda dive againsg italy. At least italy scored twice against germany and really should have had two against france. The only people who hate on the italian team are fans of inferior clubs. I think zidane is super overrated. But i will admit that chip pk was insane. Even though it was a malouda dive. Just like henry did against portugal. At least italy could score real goals against germany and france. So zidane wins mvp of the tournament because he had one great pk and one good game against brazil. Pirlo was more deserving

Zidane was the pinnacle of football in his prime, he drove the need for the future generations to have calmness and flow into their game, he changed the view football players in modern times, ahead of the game and could play in any generation, an all time great player, shit he even inspired me to player with creative freedom and hold that as the ultimate standard to reach to enter the halls of greatness. But he is the most overrated legend of the game, the most overrated. Blasphemous it may sound but that's the level of overratedness that will show itself.
