@@reptilelover597 Really? In Australia the minimum is 8 weeks, but I have to agree longer would be better because of socialisation and learning to play nice. We got our cav at 9 or 10 weeks and even though we took her to the off leash dog park every day once she had her shots and puppy pre school, she was very timid around other dogs and it only worsened when she got attacked. She preferred to explore, meet other humans and would always sit with this husky who she noticed all the dogs avoided (it was because said husky didn't like to play but she was okay with calm dogs who didn't interact with her beyond sniffing like mine)

@@Cyntaria I'm pretty sure the "minimum" is 8 weeks everywhere. Some places even give puppies up at 6-7 weeks. But the absolute minimum needs to be 10 weeks old, or even 12-16 weeks old. It is extremely necessary for them to stay with their mom and littermates until then, but for puppies, only one pup should be brought home at a time, never buy two puppies at the same time

I had a pony named Faith who would do this to her "cousin", a mule named Hope 😂 Faith's mama was blind, so she had gotten used to getting away with all kinds of shenanigans. When we were boarding her cousin Hope, she thought she had some fresh meat, but Hope was twice her size, had very little patience, and- most importantly- wasn't blind. 🤣 Faith would creep up behind Hope & try to tug at her tail, only to have Hope nip or kick at her, and she'd come galloping over to me in a panic like "How does she know it's me??" 🤣😂
