Thanks man! I'm thinking about getting but many people said the same thing about its soundcard. Idk if I cam affored a preamp rn but I will look into it. What are your thoughts on the V8 Soundcard for beginner use?
@stephensaint-felix7 ай бұрын
Hey man ! I’m Glad I could help, I’ve never heard of the V8 sound-card, I just looked at it on Amazon , I’m not sure if it has phantom power ( that would be the best way to get a clean signal from this mic ) have you thought about the behringer um2 ? Or if on a budget I’m seeing something called a Cad CX1, (looks good on paper ) but I’ve never used it . But, Hey if you want a Quality interface , but on budget , I’d say to hunt on eBay , you’ll find some pretty decent interfaces for $50 or under. Example : a used Focusrite solo! Hope this helps ! Thanks so much for your comment !

Homie put me to sleep with his calm collective vocals and reading. I woke up and ordered this mic right away. Don't need a whole lot out of the mic. Should work for voice overs and light recordings.

This mic doesn't do your voice justice nor would it mine. Thanks for the review.

Iv connected the mic directly to the 3.5mm on the motherboard, no usb to 3.5mm. with a bit of a gain boost its actually sounding good. what do you think? (My motherboard is ASUS ROG STRIX B365-F GAMING with an SupremeFX chip for audio)

Hey, I'm so sorry for the late reply. I'm not too familiar with that sound card, but if you're not hearing any hiss, you should be fine. But if you could get your hands on a audio interface , use it. I truly believe you'll notice a difference! Thanks so much for the comment!

On mu Zingyou mic I've used all three methods. 48V phantom. 3.5 trs into the usb dongel. 3.5 trs directly into the PC. Phantom is best, direct is communications grade but OK. Dongel is poor, Nuff said. With 48 V phantom and post eq and compression it will fool some of the people some of the time . Price vs Performance it is good demo quality. I've used it for finished masters and have not been run out of town - yet. BUT my customers have commented on the good quality vocals. YMMV>@@stephensaint-felix
