was standing back to back at a party turned around and just looked up at these massive shoulders and tall..he was a monster..oh and he had silky skills, he started off in 7s...is definitely my all time no 8 All Black....and this from a fan of 60s 70s ABs

At the end of his career, he came over to England to play for Harlequins. He was OK, but not great. He tried coaching, but that didn't go very well.
