Video was wonderful. Unbelievable strength in doing that chain. Can hardly believe that climb. So glad you went.

Just watched and so impressed with your climb!! I was shouting at the screen to just stop… that’s good…. great view where you are… impressed you got that far and then you went to the too!! Amazing! I’m 55 and my hands were sweating just seeing the elevation you attained!!!! Would also love to see a tour of your camper… my hubby and I are picking up our Luna Rover on Tuesday!! BTW… I live 13 ft above sea level!!!!!😂

So funny! Thanks for commenting. From there we went to Kodachrome and Brice where I did get elevation sickness. I didn’t know what it was and went to the emergency room ha. I’ve never had anything like that before and was shocked I got so sick. That video will be coming soon… thanks for watching. You will love your Rover. We have shown the inside in several videos.. but will show again on our next trip to a Florida State Park coming in a few weeks. 13’ is low.. you must be by the Coast somewhere?

@@ElisaExplores Yes! We actually live in Tampa,Florida! I’ve heard of elevation sickness and would definitely expect myself to have it after living among the flatlands of Florida! 🌴🌞

This was great. Don’t think I could have made it to the top without some conditioning!

I have a permit for Angel in Sept and we are a little worried about the hike . Do you guys train for it or just hike a lot ? How old are you guys ? We plan on doing the Narrows and Angel any other suggestions?

Me and my wife have our permit for Sept also ... Morning of the 5th for us. Pretty excited. My wife is getting a bit nervous, I think. We have never done such a difficult hike. We both just turned 50.

We did not train and I’m not very athletic. I’m 56 and he is 67. Just take it slow and easy. Watch every step and take breaks. Watch out for the heat. Hopefully you can go early in the morning.

No training. Just take it slow and watch your step. Try to do the bike ride along the main road. We missed that!
