@@skrillaman2368 Not so sure about that. With zero training he could be taken down and beaten. But when you have his level of size, power, and athleticism he would be difficult. The guy is like 6'6 285 pounds of fast twitch muscle. Technique and skill can overcome alot but if you gave him some training, he would be hard to stop. Brock Lesnar had one skill, wrestling, and he became heavyweight champ. Zion cant wrestle but his far bigger and more powerful than Brock. Francis Ngannou who had no background in MMA for a while became heavyweight champ, so Zion with training would be an absolute monster.

Zion is a top 15 player, but his game hasnt really evolved, his jumpshot has improved one bit. When he gets into his early thirties his career will take a huge downturn, because his game is based in pure athleticism and power. He needs to work on his overall game, especially his jumpshot both off the dribble and stand still to reach his potential.

He'll always have power, though. His layup package will carry him if his leaping ability diminishes. He barely even plays above the rim anymore. As long as his first step remains explosive, which it should until his late 30s, he'll be okay. A jumper would obviously help, though. That being said, his fg% beyond 10 feet isn't terrible.

@@mr_knowitall He will become a journeyman when that athleticism fades, I have seen a number of big dunks this year, so he still has elite elite athletic ability. A jumper is the best thing for anyone to develop, imagine if Giannis could shoot like Wemby. Giannis would be absolutely unstoppable, he is missing that one big part of his game, I dont know how hard Zion works on becoming great, I think he relies on pure talent and athleticism.

Getting a jumper makes him a much more difficult player to guard. Of course going to the rim is his bread and butter, just like Giannis, but can you imagine if Giannis could really shoot, he would be absolutely unstoppable.

@@yahkeem1597 Not sure why that is funny, Zion is a great player, I love Zions game, so much ability and athleticism, maybe the greatest athlete to ever compete in any sport. But for his game to truly evolve into a top 5 player, he has to develop a jump shot, otherwise he will just be a really good all star calibre player. Shooting isnt everything but it makes someone like Zion a much more diverse threat.
