I just can't wrap my mind around two toddlers being unsupervised where there's an unsecured indoor pool?? This should never have happened.

Now the twins older sister is on life support for a medical procedure gone wrong. Praying for Levy and now the sister Charlie.

This happens too much,constantly, little children drowning in pools, I can't get why parents don't learn. I had a plastic pool on my balcony when my kid was a baby up until he was like three years old. I emptied it after every use, sometimes many times a week because even though I could lock the balcony door I had nightmares about knowing there was a filled pool right outside the livingroom...

Why were two babies left unsupervised around a pool long enough for this to happen?

I just found out the twins older sister is on life support for a procedure that went wrong.

@@dianecelento4974 Without medical intervention they'd only have their oldest son left. I can't believe they let the twins 'wonder off'. Charlie the older sister has really deteriorated health wise since the twins accident. They've been so focused on Levi they admitted her appointments/treatment got put off... until 'it was impossible to ignore any longer'. Ouch.

That is what I have wondered all along! He was in that water for a long time to be this damaged...just sad. Poor child, they constantly put him through all kinds of treatments. Seems as though he never gets to rest. Weird things they do to him, looks like torture.

@@chewar7537 but if it has helped another child in a similar situation,then of course it's understandable that they try it on their child, I would too. But Iwouldn't have left my child alone around a pool, never ever, drowning was my worst fear when my kids were small, I never thought"these things happens to others,not to me", instead I was always thinking "these things happens, they might happen to me as well" and that's what drove me to be super-super careful around water and in traffic.

Unfortunately, these doctors give into mom's dream reality. I hate to be this person but he's never going to fully "wake up". He has suffered massive brain damage. Multiple therapies a day isn't going to wake your son up. I just feel bad for mom. She is in complete denial that he will never recover. These doctors feed into it for the money. Im sorry Megan but are you doing this for you to give yourself some sense of hope? I would like to know how these toddlers were left alone long enough for this to happen ?

💯 % She's paying tens of thousands to modern snake oil scammers- in the form of 'alternative therapy'. All in a desperate attempt to ease her guilt. Its never going to cure him. She just can't face the fact that he's permanently disabled. His life looks hellish. If u see this Meghan, leave your poor son be, stop torturing him. Give him traditional medical attention and stop the alternative, religious garbage. And dont leave all yr other kids for a whole month dragging the poor boy to a quack in Mexico. He's not going to be healed, the MRI is as bad as it gets, severely atrophied beyond repair, get a grip woman.

Yeah, there's a difference between being hopeful and being delusional. What happened sucks, but the damage is done and isn't going to change. This mother needs to accept the fact that her son is permanently disabled. No "cure" is coming. I know she feels guilty, but she needs to learn how to live with her guilt.

@@GPC712 unfortunately with the huge following on social media (and the donations that brings) I fear she will continue for a long time with this circus. Having a lot of resources is in this family's case preventing acceptance. I can't imagine her guilt and grief, but this is not helping, maybe as a family they need to learn to live with how he is now. If these therapies were benefiting him at all then go for it, but they're not. Poor kid looks like he's suffering terribly . No-one seems to want to challenge the Mother about it... but why are Meghans feelings more important that Levi's wellbeing? She has total tunnel vision, urged on by followers thinking they're a part of an imminent 'miracle' ..and scammers making a bomb off her desperation
@GPC712 Жыл бұрын
@@xx-wy5ot I completely agree with you. I saw a movie about a girl who got hit by a car. As a result of her injuries, she was paralyzed for life. There was a scene in a rehab facility and her father was being unrealistic as to how much his daughter would recover. The nurse tried to bring him back to reality and said, "Rehab isn't about about changing what is. It's about learning how to live with it." Levi's mother needs to accept what happened and learn how to live with it. Instead, she just wants to live in denial and thinks she can change what cannot be changed. It's a very sad situation, and she's only making it worse by continuing to hold out false hope.
@xx-wy5ot Жыл бұрын
@@GPC712 unfortunately people around her are enabling the delusion, whether its through religious hysteria or greed, sadly. It's not in his interests (no matter what she says, it's not helping him ) It's about her and the reality she can't face. Everything she's doing is driven by total denial and avoidance of the mistake she made, the facts and the resulting grim prognosis. The therapies, prayer 'warriors', the quest for a 'miracle' its all for her. Levi's level of damage unfortunately cannot be 'undone', he's not going to have a 'rebirth' , it's all just sad and crazy
