Louis Vuitton Zippy Coin Purse Review. Yay or Nah? It's good. It serves a purpose, but it's not the best thing since cotton candy.

It’s my favorite wallet. I typically carry about 15 cards, approximately $200 in cash, and a handful of coins in it without any issues. Obviously if you don’t zip it, coins will fall out. And I don’t experience anything getting stuck in the zipper.

I can’t agree more. I never understood its hype. I have a Louis Vuitton Rosalie coin purse that I was using for 3 years straight but I saw the hype over this zippy “coin purse” and I thought I’d give it a try and give my Rosalie coin purse a break. Well as soon as I put half the stuff I had in the Rosalie the zippy wouldn’t zip up and looked extremely tight. Just not practical at all if you have more than 10 cards with some cash and few coins. I returned it immediately and started carrying my previous wallet, I always find myself going back to the Rosalie no matter what I use it’s just so practical and perfect for my needs

@@Diamond-vc9gw Thank you and thanks for watching! It’s just fine but not something to write home about. Lol. I’m in my Coach denim bi fold right now and it holds 3x the amount. I’ll still use the LV and probably not a piece I’d ever sell, unless another great LV wallet comes along. Thanks for coming by🙏🏼☺️

I didn’t like it either. I had one and I actually did put coins in it, but you can’t put many in it. I never used the back pocket. If you use all the slots, the canvas stretches like you showed. You can maybe pit four cards total in it and a couple of bills before it starts to stretch.

Hi. It’s nice enough for me to use and keep but if something happened to it, I probably wouldn’t replace it.

I agree it shouldn’t be called as a coin purse since it has multiple cc slots. It does look nice and compact though. I have the same one and use it when I use my LV Eva clutch. Thanks Cami for the luxury and etc talk, it’s always a treat!

Hi Cami, The zippy compact wallet is so cute, but I definitely see your point. I just bought the the LV Kiragami set, and I’m gonna use the smallest one for a card holder or coin purse.😊

I had it! I don’t understand why they call it a zippy coin purse, bc you are right it doesn’t hold coins! At all! I ended up selling mine bc I just prefer some others that I had over that one! I do like that it held a lot! I just usez my smaller compact ones more! TFS

I agree, I think they did not name this wallet correctly. To me a coin purse is just to put coins in---not cards & cash.

I have this piece in ebene and I love it. I use it as a mini wallet, cards and cash only. Maybe an occasional quarter. I agree, it’s not a coin purse in the way we think of a coin purse! I think people use the little center compartment to put a few coins in; I keep my ID in there. I cram a lot of cards in there and it’s a little warped. It’s true you run into the zipper when accessing the cards in the very back panels. It’s a great piece but not for coins!

I have two of these. I put coins and cash in them and don’t have the issues you mention. But I don’t overstuff them either. It’s a small piece; that’s the clue. Maybe you need a bigger wallet.

Not something I would buy. Coins ruin anything leather you put them in. My coins go in a nylon pouch. Fast forward is my friend!

I love my Zippy's. Very useful. Almost excatly the same as the Hermes silkin compact wallet. I have 2 white murakami's and 2 silkin's. I keep coins in one side, cash on the other, good luck charm in the space in the middle. I've never had anything get stuck in the zip. Maybe they're made different nowdays.

I have this wallet and I was going to sell my Zippy Coin purse. I was going to purchase the recto verso or the Lisa wallet. However, now I think I will keep my coin purse and start using it tomorrow.

I agree it shouldn’t be called a coin purse. Mine is sitting in a drawer right now. Folding cash is what bothers me the most. Right now I’m using my card case and leaving my cash in the pouch that comes with the Neverful. I don’t think I’d repurchase it.

Hi and you’re welcome. I do use it daily but there are some characteristics that I don’t like. It works for mini-smaller bags but if you carry small-medium bags, I think a tri fold or regular size wallet is better. As always thank you for watching.

I have a similar sized wallet from PLG. It’s an ok size, but not my favorite wallet. With all the smaller bags now, I can see how the size is so popular. I wonder if that center compartment is where they intend for coins to go? Just a few obviously, and maybe French coins are smaller than some of ours? I don’t know myself, just wondering though. My PLG has a zipper on the center compartment so it will definitely hold some coins. Have a great week💕

Not only are we both addicted to hand sanitizer, we're a rare few who agree about disadvantages of the LV Zippy Coin Purse. Sold mine after a week. The Rosalie however is great for those of us who really just use a ton of cards. Super easy to use, unlike the Zippy. (Sill love my long LV Zippy though and will never sell that.)

We’ll just put ur I’d and drivers license and health insurance and bills or coins of course it depends how u take care of ur wallet I also have a wallet like that but I don’t see any problem

I use mine daily. It works fine if you don’t stuff it with several cards. If the cards are in the back it’s difficult to get them out. So I put my least used cards in those spaces. It’s not terrible, just not perfect. Lol. TFW🙏🏻😊
