What about maxillary molar. Are there 2 planes of buccal reduction and one plane lingual reduction aswell?
@wakha61843 жыл бұрын
Yes, thats right. Only difference is that the fucntional cusp bevel is on the lingual surface.
@aamin69333 жыл бұрын
Great. How do you decide how much 2nd plane reduction in mm?
@teethstreet2 жыл бұрын
it depends on the crown you are preparing the tooth for...basic dimensions of the crowns should be followed

Hello mam. My lower molars have reduced natural height that makes my otherwise normal jaw look retrognathic. Hence I want to increase the height of my molars. Is it possible ? And which specialises in this part ? Prosthodontics ?

Very informative video mam. I want to know HOW TO KEEP MARGINS EQUIGINGIVAL IN A PATIENT. in typhodont your margins are supra gingival. Can you please upload a video on patient,. Operator position, visibility, how to manage tongue and how to counter limited mouth opening. In typho we have too much mouth opening and we can tilt airotor any way we like to any degree. But thats not possible in mouth of patient. Thanks mam
@teethstreet3 жыл бұрын
Thankyou, will be uploading a video on operator position soon...so stay tuned! Also, if you have your margins supragingival...you can use an end-cutting bur and take it further down at the level of gingiva for equigingival margins.
