I'm from East central Africa, I perfectly agree with kenyan brother that most of our today's musicians are less talented and depend heavily on copying Black Americans. All stars Kigoma music makes me proud that we still have a few talented African musicians who keep up with our culture that is being so much undermined by the world and even sometimes by our own people who refused to identify with us, despite facts their genes will test overwhelming seventy percent African. Uganda and kenya are becoming the worst when it comes to degrading African musical culture. Most of their young stars are constantly copying Black Americans. They are depreciating African musical cultural value first than we age. We have to speak up through making comments like this on KZbin. Together we will make a change. One voice for the sake of preserving our culture.

Man, am Tanzanian and I've worked in Naii for a year (so I know how wazaee na wasupuu wanavyo adore bongo flavour)...back on why so many comments here are from Kenya, the truth is this song is not MAINSTREAM here in TZ, it was a project of a politician and one of KIGOMA MP (and he is the one who uploaded the video)...to cut the long story short he put together all the stars from that region ( bordering DRC and BURUNDI which is very very far from Dar) and they did this song praising their home! It's like Boni Khalwale or Musalia Mudavadi teaming up with some artists and they do a song about KAKAMEGA and how they love INGOKHO and expect the whole of Kenya to fall in love with it!
