This video describes my experience with the Zizzo Folding Bikes. Zizzo Bikes (a division of Euromini folding bicycles), has several models available and more information is available at their website zizzo.bike/
Disclaimer: I have no affiliation with Zizzo Bikes nor have I received any compensation from them.
I have purchased 3 bicycles from Zizzo difrectly from their website, delivery all 3 times was fast and packaging was excellent. All 3 bikes required minimal setup, most times just topping off the air in the tires. They do however highly encourage the bike is checked out by a knowledgeable bike mechanic or bike shop (I'm sure at the lawyers' suggestion).
I bought 2 Urbano models and one Liberte model. One Urbano went to New Zealand to stay, one Urbano I have here in New Hampshire, and I later bought the Liberte model for riding on pavement exclusively. This is a review of the bicycles themselves and a comparison of the two models to each other. I have cycled on these bikes almost 1,000 miles, so I feel as though I understand them pretty well now.
The Quick Synopsis. These are great, sturdy, durable bicycles that both ride great. They both have the same frame, 8-speed Shimano Altus derailleur with quick and easy Shimano Revoshift. The Liberte weighs 23 pounds and the Urbano is 24 pounds. The Liberte has a narrower tire (1.5 inch) vs the Urbano tire width (2 inch). The seat in the Liberte is lightweight and the seat on the Urbano is a "Wider Comfort Saddle". The Liberte has a bit of upgrades like quick-release hubs and a better quality bottom bracket (pedal crank bearing). The Liberte is "top of the line" in price at $429.99, the Urbano is $379.99 (prices as of May 3, 2020).
My take-a-way in all this, I love the Urbano, I have about 800-900 miles on this model, one ride was over 50 miles, and that's on a folding bike! The Liberte is equally a great bike, but not as versatile as the Urbano. The Urbano I intended to use on dirt roads and rail-trails, and the Liberte I intended to use on pavement. It turns out the Urbano is the best all-around bike... it performs the same on pavement as the Liberte, but the Urbano handles gravel and uneven surfaces much better than the narrow tires of the Liberte - and it the end the Urbano performs the same on pavement as the Liberte.
In addition, subjectively speaking, the stock saddle on the Urbano is very comfortable, the Liberte saddle is lighter in weight, but narrower and not so comfortable for me. The quick release wheels are nice on the Liberte along with the upgraded bottom bracket, but I can't tell the difference (maybe it has better durability??? I don't know).
Bottom line, if you're in the city and ride pavement only, I would say buy the Liberte, but if you want the best all-around high-quality folding bike, save yourself 50 bucks and buy the Urbano.
Final word, I've had a few folding bikes over the years and these Zizzo bikes are the best folding bikes for the money. I do have an older Bike Friday that is wonderful, but just the folding mechanism on Bike Fridays are very clumsy and because of that I seldom use it at all and it cost 4 times the Urbano!
We can carry these Zizzo folding bikes in the RV or car, taking up minimal space and still have a quality "big-bike" ride wherever we go!

Does the urbano backpedal or does doing that apply the brakes?

I wish Zizzo would offer belt drive option instead of chain.

Great video. Thanks. I'm assuming that if it's the same frame, you can swap the tires on the liberte to 1.95s.

You explained well how to fold, many people mess around without folding properly. I ordered yesterday Liberte to ride in Manhattan, hope it will also work to take a bus! Ah, you can change the Liberte tires, it’s not an issue. But the fast-release wheels are good for thieves, so no way to leave this bike outside!

No big deal to change the tyres and saddle on the Lighter Liberte for the rough stuff . best of both worlds then .

Very nice comparison video! I just purchased my Urbano today and should arrive in 4 days. I was also on the fence between the two models, but I think the tires and seat pulled me to the urbano as well. Cheers!

As far as I'm concerned this is the definitive video that everyone considering a Zizzo would DREAM someone would post (especially if you're the neurotic type like me - who does too much homework on every purchase). It's what convinced me. Many happy miles later, I'm very glad it did! Thanks so much for posting.
