Hey john I was wondering if you knew any good flats on the broad water for a tinny
@mylurebox4 жыл бұрын
Hey mate. The flats are loaded with fish mate. Look for those flats that have a changing bottom of weed and yabby holes and muddy/ shaley stuff. If you look up around Mud and Crab island and those flats out front of runaway bay and sovereign you can’t go wrong ;)
@inZaneAdventures4 жыл бұрын
Only got some of these a few weeks ago, in the Greasy Prawn colour. Very impressed. Almost caught as many flatties as the 3" Gulp Shrimp (my Go-to).. biggest difference was that one Ez shrimp lure lasted ALL day without hardly a mark on it and nearly finished 2 bags of Gulps..
@mylurebox4 жыл бұрын
Mate it’s such a fair point to make I reckon. I’ve gone through the packs of gulps before too. And I can stomach it cause they’re catching fish but when 1 zman gets it done for 3 trips, it’s hard to compete eh. I still reckon those gulps can smoke everything on their day though...

I'm guessing the pink colour choice is because of the dirty water? Great to see the action on these, I've got one but haven't used it much..

Love the video, can't say I love the lures. I bought a pack over 12 months ago they look incredible I never got a fish on them. I still have a full pack. I think it depends on the sort of bait in the water. I know down South here we didn't have a prawn run so maybe we have no shrimp.
@mylurebox4 жыл бұрын
Mate it’s funny you share that point cause I had the same experience when I started using em for Jacks. Couldn’t get a bite.. left em in the box for a year then this week it’s been great fun with 3 sessions in a row.... flatties are an interesting target too I reckon.
@leonardbrown15124 жыл бұрын
@@mylurebox It happens. The lesson is don't give up on a lure. Our area is high pressured. I recently used the Molix RT Shad 3.5 In Gardon and every flathead jumped on them. It really depends on the day. Another example using zman grubs i left them alone for 18 months took them out and had a blast.

Cheers Drew. I reckon that angle from a drone is sick eh. Totally blew me away to watch the flats from above after I checked it out on my phone last week. Awesome stuff.

Zman EZ ShrimpZ in Morningwood, a very effective and versatile lure. However, if that was the color of my morning wood I reckon I'd be off to see the doctor quick smart! 😄

Almost scared me havin Zman calling it that...yikes!! esp with it being a glowing colour with a belly slit.

When I first started using plastics almost 2 years ago I bought a 2 pack of the ez shrimp and I've thrown them around quite a few times and never caught anything. Weird because I always thought they looked great but I recon it's the only zman I haven't caught anything on. You've inspired me to give it another run on Friday morning so fingers crossed

lift drop lift drop lift drop...the part people struggle with, especially in boats, is covering ever m2 of ground...flatties don't move you need to put your lure in their strike zone....fan casting and fishing areas methodically will increase your catch rates.

Truth be told a Flathead will chase down a lure and will actively hunt if the bait are around. kzbin.info/www/bejne/n6nWoYSsjbKLmM0
