The video footage is remarkably stable considering that the camera is not mounted on a gimbal. That stability is also indicative of superb piloting skills.

If you have the DJI black controller and the goggles v1 or v2 then it will work with this VTOL.

I’m using the RadioMaster TX16S with TBS Crossfire TX/RX.

@@sherwoodp2738 The black piece on top of the fuselage is my Insta360 camera mount. For you TX/RX, Can you confirm if you have the signal and the telemetry wires connected correctly?

My friend, u mentioned in the last video batt life flight time only 28mins ? I knew is 4s 5100mah lipo, u think u will try lithium ion batt ? Like 7000mah and see any longer life and distance can achieve ? Coz i like long range, i fly usually 6 miles out one way..... Thx for the video !

I'm trying out a new Lipo pack for this flight. It's a 4S 5500 mAh. For this flight I didn't drain the battery at all. The battery still had 3.8V per cell when I landed though. I could of gone longer if I want.

Great flight ! I have this same plane but I can’t get near this range you are getting , how are you getting this range ? I’m using the DJI remote and barley getting 1km . Looks like your using crossfire .

I replaced the DJI remote with the TBS Crossfile and upgrade the Air Unit antennas. Now I can fly further than the stock system.

Nice video! Do you know if this model can fly waypoints on autopilot? For instance fly longer than the connection to the controller and goggles allow.

I was about to ask this same question. This planes come with DJI flight controllers, so I am hoping to hear that they can fly the same Litchi waypoint missions I use for my DJI Phantom 3 Standard and DJI Mavic Pro 1, both of which can fly BEYOND the signal reach of the RC controller, yet still find their way home fully autonomously.

No idea how you're getting 2km. Even at 1.2w, I'm lucky to get 500m. I was so excited to get the ZMO. First one I received the flight controller was faulty. Sent it back (at my expense) and waited for a replacement. Finally got my new ZMO and it flew great out to 400m. The problem is that it wouldn't land. Came down to 10m and wouldn't come down any further. Hovered until the battery finally died and it fell on grass. Contacted OMPhobby and was told they would call me back after they talked to the manufacturer in China. (Jul 1) Still waiting on that call back...

I wish they sold this as kit only the foam without anything.. would get rid of the VTOL nonsense and this could be some serious platform for LR flights.. 1.2ghz video and 915mhz link and send it 100km out
