I would always find out a new Yiruma song and think to myself "there couldn't be any song possibly better than this one. And yet again, he managed to surprise me. This man truly knows how to convey emotions and love into music. Anyone who listens to his music can feel nostalgic and relate to any of his songs.

@Linan066 I'm not stereotyping? Screamo = screaming, although there is music in the background. Rap = rhyming talk with a few beats in the background. Songs in both of those genres sound very similar and although you have to have creativity regarding the lyrics and especially the rhyming in rap. It does NOT take a lot of creativity to make the music i.e. the beats and the guitar chords when you compare it with this piece of music, I listen to screamo so I'm not stereotyping.

Gdzie oni tam patałachy do Chopina pasują.

@naturalmystic95 The difference between these two: 5 years from now, people will be going, "Justin who?" The tweens who adore him now will come to realize their obsession for him is stupid, and will get over him...because someone else will replace him. 5 years from now, Yiruma will have put out more music and will continue to grow in popularity. Nobody can replace Yiruma, because he actually has talent, and is awesome. =)
@katheezy811

Everyone needs to drop the whole "Bieber" thing because everyone deserves to follow their dreams. Bieber has his own fans and so does Yiruma.. So we should not be aiming to destroy Justin because he got to accomplish he dreams and is well known to the world, but we should ask ourselves, "What are we doing as YIRUMA FANS, to make him known?" We should aim to spread Yiruma's talent not by trying to destroy or make fun of someone else.

O melodie/Oamintire.

but to be able to make such beautiful melodies, One thing you have to do though, Practice... I am a struggling hand drawn animator. Pianist myself. but what I do to close that gap of not being talented enough is just by PRACTICING a Lot ! good luck. just feel like sharing. I could feel what you are experiencing at this time. If only I practiced more when I was younger, I would've become a lot better musician now.

@mynameisquynhanh299 Hey When I was your age I was like that as well. I was so lazy when mum forced me to practice. not Until I went to high school in Australia. I did music and I saw so many people my age are far better player. I then decided to practice 4 hours something a day. I am not 25 years old and practically been practicing Piano everyday. but No one force me too, I just enjoy it. I didnt know this day would come coz My young self hated practicing.

@mynameisquynhanh299 i've got the opposite situation, my parrents are always saing things like " why are you wasting money, you'll never make up for a living on music "etc. When I play something for them, they are impressed, but the next day when I'm saying that i want to buy and learn the other instruments they say the same things. Fortunately I made enough money this holidays to buy a keyboard, maybe someday when I finish my education, i'll be able to buy a real piano.

@dmklnko The coolest things about his songs, is they sound really super challenging (don't get me wrong, some are) but they're really actually quite easy to play. And they're the kinds of songs that once you learn them, they're stuck in your head forever and you can just sit down and get lost in his music. He's my alltime favorite composer/artist, so happy I stumbled upon him by accident
@Takashi577
@Takashi577 14 жыл бұрын
@Kenryuu yeah that's very true, a simple composition nothing extravagant or near the works of ones such as Chopin, Mozart, or Beethoven, but the feeling and passion is really rich and colorful. Unfortunately it also makes his pieces so hard to play because you have to be so dynamic all the time and sometimes it just doesn't click, unlike Mozart who already wrote in the passion within the music.

We (the annoying fan girls) do that (well, I don't, but I like Twilight very mutch) because Yiruma's music is so wonderful and I love it really really mutch, and because you can express feelings so well with piano music, we used them on the slideshows of Twilight, because we think it fit's Twilight very very well. I know it isn't related in any way, it just goes very well with Twiligt. X a annoying Yiruma AND Twilight fan girl ;)
@YvanneLove7
@YvanneLove7 15 жыл бұрын
I, and all the other Twilight-fans, know that not every piano piece has te do with Twilight, but because piano-music is (almost) always very sensitive, and Twilight is too, it just fit's Twilight very well. And with Piano music, you can just describe feelings very well, better than with other music. So, I came here as a Yiruma-fan, not a Twilight-fan, but I am both! Because of \Twilight, so be happy that Yiruma has new fans, because of Twilght!!!!! XOXO

@naturalmystic95 Yea, justine bieber doesn't know what real love for music is, he is just in it for the money. But Yiruma, I mean you can see the pasion he has for piano, that is why he plays so well, unless you love it, you will never be good at it. I mean, Yiruma is practically talking through the piano, showing his emotions in it, that is what a real musician is.

im a piano and a guitarist lol but its actually pretty easy cuz for piano we don't have to press our fingers all the way down we play smoothly and majesticly and all the notes are in alphabetical order from A - G unlike guitar where its like all over the place or something.. im not saying guitar is bad too because over time it becomes more fun to play than piano imo..

I have one problem with yiruma's music.. too much repetition of the same melody... even though I think the melody he had here is awesome XD.. but fitting the entire song of the same good thing isnt gonna give people any surprises or climax.
