Motty’s voice is magic music instrument of great range with most expressive and diverse scale of intonations and appeal to the G-d from inside the Soul! This wonderful song “Haneshama Bekirbi” («Soul within Me») performed by Motty Steinmetz, has several purports, that is peculiar to the Jewish spiritual texts. The refrain expounds the prayer "Modeh Ani" , that for the first time appears in the work "Seder haYom" by the 16th century Rabbi Moshe ben Machir from Tzfat. "I give thanks before you, King living and eternal, for You have returned within me my soul with compassion; abundant is Your faithfulness!"
