Great reaction ! But this guy, Dimash is a born story teller, and his medium is music. , he weaves a spell around his listeners that pulls us into his world from the first note to the last. And it's not just the music and lyrics; he does it with everything he’s got - from his facial expression, his eyes, his hands seemingly plucks the notes from the air, to his stance, I've always said Dimash doesn’t just sing a song. He becomes the song. And if God has a voice I'm sure it would sound like this ! Oh he can reach D8 ( which is off the piano !! ) That's how high he can sing !! A Dimash song is like riding a roller coaster through a mini-opera where all parts are performed by the same person who has no limits to his voice. He can sing in any octave (six so far), any vocal timbre, any style(pop, rock, opera, broadway, hip-hop, jazz, R&B), any language (twelve so far) and transition seamlessly between these within the same musical phrase. The voice you heard comes from one naturally gifted but is only possible through years of dedicated training under the supervision of outstanding teachers. His mother is an opera singer, his father a pop star/music producer and he started extensive formal musical training at age 5 on instruments and vocals. He has said that his vocal chords are longer than usual and when the "voice change" happened he didn't lose his high notes but just extended his lower range. As a teen he trained operatically at an arts school but with his range that meant performing as a tenor and a soprano. His tone is so exceptional he was actually part of the female section of the choir when they needed help. He then studied rock, pop and RnB vocal styles in college where he obtained a degree in The Art of Stage Performance/Variety Vocal. He plays seven instruments well including piano, the dombra (Kazakh two string lute) and the drums. His goal is to tastefully combine these vocal techniques, along with those of his native Kazakh heritage, to create his own musical fusion.

No one...and I mean no one can sing the way Dimash can. He is DEFINITELY in a league of his own. It takes at least 3-5 singers to sing like Dimash in a single song. Dimash can sing bass, baritone, tenor and soprano. He can sing practically nearly anything in practically nearly every genre and in multiple languages. He can sing the whole spectrum on tones, timbres, colours....you name it....in music. Professional vocal coaches, voice teachers, professional stage director.....agrees.....Dimash is the master singer/vocalist or voice magician. Agility and fluidity in his vocals are no joke.....there's simply no peers.....not currently. Dimash don't just sing. His incredible mastery in interpreting and conveying the very essence of every song he sing sets him apart and the rest. His, face, hands, body, voice, notes....everything.......sings along.
