It strongly reminds me of "Évidemment" by La Zarra, which was in fact - for those who don't know - France's Eurovision 2023 entry. The instrumental sounds a lot like "Évidemment" that was performed at Eurovision (so not the studio track) and it sounds like it even has the same pace. Honestly, I love both tracks. Sometimes I still find myself listening to "Évidemment" every now and then and it will probably be the same with "Cœur." Good job, France! Much love from the Netherlands!

in terms of quality this reminds me of the Armenian host entry last year - probably won't win but extremely competent and once again showing France's credentials as a Top 3 JESC country. Would be very surprised if this didn't come Top 5.

to me, this is a fairly-balanced song: "balanced" in the sense that it is (and sounds) neither too mature nor too junior. it is just so suitable for early teenagers, up until young adults (at least up to the age of 20 or at max 25).

I'm learning French and I have recently started listening to French Songs (or should I say chansons Francaises) and I have been listening to Jamais sans toi et Bim Bam Toi, and Angelina et Carla are great singers and I have been listening to them for a while and listening to them but today I found out Zoé Clauzure is doing Cœur and I liked it and It will be une chanson I listen to for a while. I hope France wins

FYI The Voice Kids is such a big deal in France, close to the adult version in term of viewership and production, so the pool of young french singers is potentially... endless 😄(The last 6 all did The Voice Kids prior JESC including Zoé) From my understood, it is pretty much the same team for both contests so yes, I don't understand why we don't fix things for adult Eurovision even though it is completely another level.

ah ok interesting, that definitely epxlains where the talent is coming from, and also why they are so good on the stage. I think the adult ESC results are good too (9th in the rankings), just not as excellent as JESC

Lissandro - Oh Maman! was my #8 last year and I never ever expexted this song to win .... but well, the JESC is unpredictable sometimes. I thought Netherlands, Armenia or Georgia would win in 2022.

This is a great song on paper, and given France's track record there is no doubt that this will do well in the competition. I have no idea whether there is an aversion to back-to-back victories (I guess not) though, which is its only drawback I can think of. If she is the most confident single female entry (a variable in live performances you rightfully stress) then she can gobble up all the points and win easily
