It’s true to an extent. As a cancer moon, I won’t ever wanna talk to an ex after a really bad breakup. Yes, I often think about the fond memories a lot and often. Hell, I’ve thought about my exes 10 and 4 years after each breakup but I’ll never reach out to them or talk to them. The least we could become would be friends, but it’s probably not likely if we really ended on bad speaking terms. But it doesn’t mean I can’t think of them.
