11:25 Zoe discusses Boys Don't Cry (1999) "We don't need to see trans people being raped and murdered, brutually, viscerally and very visually, anymore" I totally agree with Zoe on this. We really DON'T need to see trans people portrayed like this anymore. Times have moved on. I like what Zoe says in this interview about how much trans rights have changed since Socratis Otto was on Wentworth. Zoe brought a raw authenticity and truth to their role as Reb we had not seen before. But hang on...this is EXACLTY what happened to Reb on the show. He was raped AND murdered. Brutually. Viscerally. And very visually. Have things really changed ? :(
