For years I have been using the term comfort food and I wonder why sometimes I have a problem giving up certain foods. But the same scripture Jackie Hill Perry speaks of was given to me last week. God hates idolatry which means that even me seeing myself needing comfort in anything other than him was a problem.

That has been me struggling with unhealthy relationships, lust and sex for the last 2 years. I wasn't happy in I found it but found it so hard to overcome the desires of my flesh but towards the end of 2019 I could sense that God was ready to remove that hold! He removed all the relationships that were not helping me grow. I'm trying to stay pure for God and I pray he continues to keep me faithful 🙏🏾❤

Just with you feeling the conviction is a good sign you are being seen! When the temptation comes back around find out what's triggering that temptation then get into prayer because you're being attacked. Open the Bible and read whatever page it opens in. With God behind you you can do it ❤

Since I was a youth I was always looking for the comfort I didn't receive as a child. As an adult I looked for comfort in drugs and relationships. These things ultimately failed me and rightly so. God is the Great Conforter and I know this now. So much peace in accepting this truth.

Praise YESHUA! I need to hear this WORD, this morning! I doubt THE LORD on occasions! I believe it's because of abandonment as a child! My mom would come visit! When she left I'd run after her. She never looked back! This went on for years. (She loved us, she just wasn't ready are able to be a mother! She also had abandonment issues/A Generation Curse!) I'm a minister of reconciliation! YESHUA IS faithful when I'm not. HE still use me! I'm growing in faith! Its just something HE ask me to do and say STAND outside the Norm !
