I started my first office corporate job as an intern one month before covid shut everything down. I bought in panic a lot of office wear, blazers, new collared shirts, trousers.. only to use them for few weeks and then not using them for two years as I was always at home. What a waste it felt 😂

Thanks for being honest and calling out some of the influencers that use marketing gimmicks and put a hefty price on something that is not worth the money they are asking for it! It would be great to go over some of the marketing tactics they use to hype up the demand. I used to watch KZbin “gurus” and spend lots of money on skincare products. Literally thousands of $ every year. Then I discovered that I can just learn about ingredients that work for my skin, use affordable products that get the job done and my skin is better than ever. I still watch some of their content and when I hear “oh the packaging is so cute!” I just eye roll and ignore lol

As someone who has been studying dietetics for 6 years, it is not only overly expensive for what you are getting (unknown qualifications) but it is also dangerous! There is a governing body for this reason to ensure health care practitioners are equipped, and you're paying for the years of study and expertise. On the other hand, I have definitely had my fair share of fast fashion pieces that are too good to be true because they do not stand the test of time and fall apart after one wash!

Mine would definitely be cosmetics in general : I started watching beauty KZbin a few years ago and I rapidly ended up with a ton of makeup I couldn't use up in a lifetime, a million-step skincare routine when a simple cleanser and moisturizer has always worked for me, I tried a lash lift & tint which disappeared after 1 week and destroyed my lashes... Getting my nails done as well, I always manage to screw them up immediately 😅 You live and you learn I guess! I still have most of the makeup, I know it will expire and I definitely will not be repurchasing anywhere near that amount of things when that happens

With zara it’s defo hard, you have to check the label and know what fabrics and materials are good or not, I’m lucky my mum and sister have studied fashion design and so they know what won’t be long lasting. I always ask them their opinion before I buy something first hand. However their sizing is shocking. They do not caters for people with bigger busts.

I don't regret getting it but wish I held off longer: my Canon EOS M50. I was SO determined to make KZbin videos in the spring of 2021 and now in August 2022, I still have no uploads to show for it 🤡 I've actually filmed quite a bit of stuff but end up letting perfectionism get in the way of me actually making a video, so now I just wish that I got in all my practice runs with a phone first. Also yes, some of these life coaches are borderline delusional given their lack of credentials and what they charge! Especially the ones with courses that are full of toxic positivity and preach that "the right mindset" can get a person through some incredibly tough times rather than therapy from a real professional.

Fingers crossed that you’ll manage to sell the bag! ♥️ I’ve been trying to sell some clothes recently that I think are actually really pretty but either uncomfortable or I just dont look good in them since I bought them just because I saw them on someone else and thought “wow they look really good in it so maybe I’ll look as pretty as them”…. I also remember buying years ago this bikini from Triangl or whatever was the name and since it was shipped from Australia to Europe I had to pay some extra taxes, plus it ruined my flip flops when I put them together in my suitcase because I guess the quality was not that good, also surprisingly the top was too small for me and it totally looked like I borrowed it from my younger sister 🙈
