That finale was absolutely beautiful and so much more emotional than I thought it would be! The fact that Max was there for her throughout the whole episode and even called Simon about Mitch! That little moment showed SO much growth and maturity on his part and just makes me even more of a Max stan. On the Clarkeman front, their scenes were everything. They were sweet, romantic, sexy, funny and awkward, and exactly how I pictured their first kiss/makeout to be. Just perfect.
This show is so poignant yet such great escapism, it would be a travesty if it ended here. Please stream the crap out of this show, cause it really deserves it.

This may sound weird, but I have a theory that Max will start to hear Zoey's own "heart songs." Throughout this season, he has always known exactly when Zoey needed help and did whatever he could to help her, he found out about her power, and he even did a real music number for her. This idea mostly came from the episode where Zoey sang because he was there for almost all of the songs. It would just be interesting if in season two Zoey is grieving and he develops this power because the "universe" or whatever wants her to get help.

It’s cus of that weird scene in the hospital where that doctor said to her, “you won’t believe how many people it’s helped.” And then started singing I got the music in me. That makes me believe more than just Zoey can get and might have the power.
