Her name is Thembisile Twala. She now sings for Gauteng Choristers, conducted by Sidwell Mhlongo. She is a music teacher at Empangeni High School, a multi racial school in KZN. She still sings opera and very good at it, her voice is still marvelous and superb.

I was 16 in 2006. . . And even though I never understood a word of it being an indian from Durban. . . And I still don't understand a word. . . It still became one of my favourite tracks because it FELT soulful. Don't know what made me search it in 2018 , 12 years later. . . But I still love it just as much as back them. Zola 7 🙏

... I remember listening to this track back in primary school, 2005, as a grade 7 pupil - life was not so good ey ... I would listen to it on my mom's alarm clock that had a radio - just before 7:30 when it was time to walk to an under-resourced state-school with no penny on my pocket and it would just play on radio like I booked it. Its been 10 years now, I'm a grown boy trying as hard as I can that I don't go back to those days, Thank you Zola 7 - you really inspired me, hope I do the same to others, sooner than later :)

It is sad how people that look up to us are so quick to judge when we do wrong things. The media will always take an opportunity to bring one of us down. You gave us Zola 7, Cell C ambassador, the clothing brand. You will always be our childhood hero, we looked up to you when all was gloomy. Tuning into your show gave us hope. Zola 7 for Life.

But tho y'all should've been grateful. Y'all had Kanye, Eminem and Lil Wayne back then, compare 2023 US rappers with 2007 rappers and you'll get my point.

Yeah. I remember that episode. She wanted her friends to learn to accept the type of music she did since they never liked it. So Zola decided to feature her in one of his songs and they liked how it sounded. I think it was around the beginning of 2004. Like half a year (or less) before Zola's third album came out.

Man saw this track being made on the Zola 7 show, i just could not believe how Zola used his genius to come with this song using the skills of this young lady singing Oprah. Zola we need you my brother, your music still gives me purpose, direction and comfort in hard times. They may take away everything but dont allow them to take away your creativity and genius. Bonginkosi Dlamini no one do it better than you.
