"This is my first time" Reminds me of when I broke my thumb as a kid--- I was in an army family, so I went to a military hospital. One corpsman was trying to set the bone before casting and he was basically torturing me, twisting and grinding and causing a lot of pain. Another guy was in the room, and he physically pushed him out of the way, (I think he might have called him an idiot, not sure, it's been a while), Took my my hand and immediately painlessly set the bone. Experience matters.
