"This sequel to the Zombicide: Black Plague will bring players back into a world of deadly medieval fantasy, this time filled with infected orcs and goblins who will put survivors to the ultimate test. This green menace is not only stronger than their human counterparts, but they also tend to gather into massive hordes that ambush the survivors when they least expect it.
Set in the same medieval era as Black Plague, players will take on the role of Survivors looking to defeat the shuffling, undead menace by any means possible.
In Green Horde, up to six players can join the battle for survival. They’ll combine forces and work cooperatively to accomplish their goals, and against all odds, stay alive. Fans of the Zombicide series have become familiar with the Walkers, Runners, Fatties, and Abominations that shuffle around, looking for victims. But the creatures they will face are not just zombie humans, they’re zombie orcs! The Survivors will have to gear up with a wide variety of medieval equipment if they hope to outlast these fearsome foes. Zombie Orcs are stronger than the classic zombie and represent a stiffer challenge to even seasoned undead-hunting veterans.
A new challenge for the Survivors is the Horde. It represents a growing group of Orc zombies that are ready to enter the board in an unexpected location and ambush the Survivors. As zombie cards with the Horde symbol are drawn, one extra zombie miniature of the same type is set aside, collectively forming the Horde. They will be locked into place until an “Enter the Horde!” card is drawn, spawning the Horde on the board. Any Survivor caught on their own near this roving menace would best beat a hasty retreat.
With such menacing new foes, the Survivors are going to have their hands full dealing with the Green Horde. Luckily, they’ll have some new weapons and spells on their side to help combat the rotting masses. Things like the Lava Burst, the Norse Sword, and the Bone Kukri will all be helpful when hacking through a pack of the undead. Oh, and if they should gather together too tightly, the Survivors can always hit them with the catapult...(did we not mention the catapult?).
Zombicide: Green Horde includes ten new challenging quests, featuring some of the toughest scenarios a Survivor has ever had to face. With new terrain, like ledges and water holes, and the ever-present threat of the Green Horde making an appearance, the team will have to plan their routes carefully. Sometimes avoiding trouble is better than facing it head on! Zombicide: Green Horde is the next chapter in the ever-evolving world of Zombicide. There’s no rest for the Survivors if they hope to battle their way to a new hope and a new beginning."

There was a lot going on for sure. The game isn’t complex but tracking all the abilities, stats, zombies, cards, six heroes and special rules can add up! I really enjoyed it though. Fun times! Great to hear you did as well :)

Yeah, we did splitting and noise tokens on the first game or two we played, but after that we just house ruled that whenever splitting would occur on an odd number of zombies, we just choose one way to get an extra one. No magically created zombies. And for noise we just use the the "Common sense" rule and it's pretty easy to figure out where the most noise is coming from. Which is what you have done a lot of the time because it just makes sense. For my group it's all about the most fun and this makes it the most fun for us.

That’s exactly my line of thinking as well. I believe a large majority of players house rule the splitting. Didn’t Invader get rid of it completely? I think it did?

I think so. They also added a concentrated fire option so multiple characters with relatively weak weapons can gang up on a big monster and still take it down if they work well together. I was not completely impressed with a lot of the art and uninspired characters in Invader. But as they talked more about game play I became interested and went ahead and backed it.

Ya, I didn't back it. I may grab it used in the future but I personally think the medieval vibe is a much better version of Zombicide.

I will admit it was super tempting as Invader looks the coolest. And I like the player boards with the weapons that allow for attached components. Was hard to say no to the KS haha

What a nail-biting conclusion! I'll be honest, once characters started dying, I thought you weren't going to make it. But you somehow managed to pull it off! Great game. Can't wait to see what you play next.

Awesome series man. I can see right away this was a big undertaking to play this much and record it at the same time. Record it with a handheld no less. You did a great job of keeping everything clear and in frame. Yeah mistakes are gonna happen in big games. So it’s not a matter of putting an asterisk next to the W. Because unless it’s competitive play, the mistakes will happen. I challenge anyone to have a mistake free game. I really love zombicide. Although I’m gonna pass on invader. It would be really awesome to see you play Arcadia quest I know you like that game. Keep it up and hope to see more!

Fun fun. The Dragon and the Rat King were a pleasant surprise. The mistakes were what it was since you were juggling a lot - playing all the characters, micromanagement, announcer, camera man, etc. Nothing is perfect and seeing the mistakes makes making mistakes not so horrible since mistakes can always be made right. I find it interesting that while we want to see all the abominations and necromancers spawn, not to decimate the team but to see them in action. It looked like you were hesitant in spawning them since they can ravage the crew so early. In a way, it speaks volumes for those that do put the time and effort to acquire these scary monsters, however are very hesitant themselves to spawn them in their own game. It's a very amusing character of the human psyche - similar to going to a scary movie and wishing very much to see no harm done to the actors or even standing in line to ride the scariest roller coaster only to wonder whatever possesses one to do such crazy thing, but I guess it's the experience that counts and what one can learn in the knowledge. It's a fun three hours.

Recently discovered these and it was a lot of fun to watch this entire play through. I enjoyed your strategy talk throughout and rules explanations. Given the attention to detail with the rules, it was surprising to see so many mistakes made throughout each video. I like that you addressed them and corrected them as much as possible. Definitely looking into more of your play throughs but cautious if this many big mistakes are consistently made. Cheers!

Hey Wes! In the early days I was doing this purely in my spare time. I now designated a large chunk of my free time or all of it towards the channel. Even with all the mistakes it was still awesome, great, love the whole series it's one of the best ones you've done recently except for maybe valley of the Kings. For my taste anyway. I always wonder when there's no exit to escape through, what everyone does. "He got the macguffin I'm out" then the whole board lines up at a punch clock with there lunchboxes. All like "see ya tomorrow Mike. Drive safe" "You too abomabunny, say hi to the wife and kids" Once again thanks for the tons of work you put in on this one. And keep on rolling awesome.

Good to hear that! :) I did quite a few goofs in the middle of the playthrough but I’ll blame filming late at night as my excuse haha That exit thing is weird huh? hahaha Basically they all go out for drinks after at the local pub. Laugh about the ones that fell. haha ;p

You didn't move the bunny, but I don't think it would have mattered. Dustin would have had to use an additional action to get out (3 total) and then you had your free search on top of your last action. Well played. Unless your movement ends if you move from a zone with a zombie into another zone with a zombie miniature in which case you're screwed. The bunny would have killed Dustin.

Good catch Mashing P! He would have had to stop when moving into another zone with a zombie. Although, I didn’t use all my heroes activations in that last round which would have given me another shot with the treb on the bunny with line of sight. A close one for sure! Thanks for watching :)

@@RollingSolo ... so Dustin was Dusted ... I never new that rule about Slippery... always thought it was way overpowered to just move all over the board as you see fit. Thanks for that, plus Zombie Link is also way better than I thought it was! Nice play through... would love to see another mission maybe with the Spectral and Tainted Walkers, less Abominations but a whole mix of different Zombies.

I believe that the bile must be discarded from hand so it should have been equipped in order to drop it. This is one of those cards I think is silly. I cannot imaging that a shattering potion bottle cannot be lobbed from the backpack side pocket easily. IMO you should not have to slot this item to discard. I understand the torch, but not the bile cards. This is like the splitting rule and I often do not require it to be equipped. These cards are few and far between as is. Also, glad the feral dragon came out. Wait till the necro dragon shows up. Makes this one look like a chew toy..

Hi watching alot of your video we need a new top 10 soon!! I want to ask you can you recommend me a few solo player games? I already pre order mage knight ultimate edition and was looking to buy aeons end war eternal and maybe maximum apocalypse,also im in canada so games like hoplo are just too expensive with shipping and i think games like friday and one deck dungeon look too light.

If you’ve already ordered Mage Knight Ultimate, stick with that for now. It’s quite the beast of a game. If you need more in the future, HEXplore It is a good addition!

Yes sir! Totally right. So small I forgot it was even there when moving all the zombies. I didn’t use all my heroes activations and actions on the last turn and could have used the treb with line of sight bonus to take it out. A close one! Good eye :) Thanks for checking out the playthrough.

You shouldn't have lost Hyg at the beginning of the video. After the last video, I looked up the rules for the Swamp Lurker Abomination and it actually only does one damage per attack.

SinceHopper only jumped the hedge the lurker shouldn't even be on the board. it should be a regular Walker. So unless you roll really bad Hopper should have still been alive.

Good play through, but this game has an awful amount of luck. I guess you have to be OK with that in a game to really like this game. I have BP but didn't get Green Horde.

This game certainly involves a lot of luck indeed. Not for everyone as it's more of a beer and pretzels type game. However, with all the aboms included it can get quite rules heavy in terms of referencing them all. I think one Zombicide game is good enough in my collection. :)
