This mod flips the regular san andreas so much that after a while the base game feels like a dlc. Not only that, it does have an offline multiplayer so me and my friend were able to play the survival mode thru keyboard and gamepad

@@ryanjefffelizardo1172 Press start game then go to "Settings", then go to "Misc". Theres gonna be an option to switch the Coop On/Off right there. If you have a gamepad to plug-in you must download Xoutput and configure the buttons otherwise the game will not recognize your controller. And if you play on a notebook and have no gamepad like me you can use Keyboard Splitter to play with 2 keyboards, but its trickier to configure.

san andreas is the perfect map for any kind of zombie/survival horror etc thats ever been created, its naturally such a eerie map, the lack of wildlife , the weather, the geography with hills and rivers and mountains that give the impression fo a even bigger map by making it so you cant just go in a straight line. its amazing

Someone finally made a video essay/documentary type thing [idk] about this mod. It is so underrated and flew under everyone's radar that I am very shocked it is not talked about enough. I found out about this mod due to Hugo One and I was immediately intrigued. The fact that this total conversion mod looked so fleshed out, had so much content, actually looked like it could be its own game, and all that other good stuff genuinely surprised me at how this total conversion mod was barely even talked about.

This mod is awesome, just a fair warning though, if you do wanna play Survival custom, compare the givens you have in the "owngame" file with the difficulty you want, like for ex: between Easy and Normal, you would have to open in a text editor like Notepad++ the "owngame" as well as Easy and Normal, my default values for the custom game file were actually harder than Normal lol, so you need to go to each line of code to make sure. Thanks for the video, this is probably my favorite GTA SA mod that I had no idea existed and I found that out thanks to you! This is something I've always dreamed about as a kid playing vanilla GTA SA. Keep the awesome content coming!

Cool video, so datailed. But i think you miss something about factions. DCD - just lore organization, that sends supply boxes to you Military - remnants from army, who still holds military bases. After clean all bases they will completely disappear from map Punishers - mercenaries, they don't appear in main gamemode, only in few missions.

Does the army give you 6 star wanted level when you enter the base but go away once you leave it and move too far? I always think it would be interesting to use the same wanted system but modify it to fit a mod's theme, like apocalyspe mods still having some government faction retaining control over some area or district, and thus will pursue you if you commit crimes. Basically it's like RDR2 wanted system except lawmen don't care if you commit crimes out in the wasteland, which is everywhere so the only areas you will get pursued is if you enter secured bases and cause mayhem there lol

@@chibisayori20 no, army here just patrol area and defend its bases. Some kind of wanted system was deleted from mode. But if you attack bases of factions they will attack your survivor camp and sends squad for you. About government. By the lore there organization "Commonwealth of San-Fierro" (CSF) they control San Fierro and you can help them escape infected state, this is one of endings.

@@shellsheridan8056 but it would still be cool to have some sort of wanted system, altrough i guess there isn't any big settlement type of area with highly militarized faction that handles law enforcement duties. Still atleast would be cool to have soldiers endlessly spawn at Area 69 or something until you take out the leader npc whom which the infinite spawning enemies become finite.

Back then we had ambushes, small group firefights, even a siege (we used to play on a server that just started so it's owner was just going around other servers advertising his one and he promised us to give us our own base if we switched to his server - we did and he kept his word, so we had our own base to stash vehicles and supplies!), constant scavenge runs and overall it was just so pleasant to roam that world, be it in a small convoy, single behicle with 2-3 of your buddies or even alone

I only heard about this mod from one of my friends but I never played it. I only played one zombie mod for GTA SA, based on Resident Evil with Leon from RE4 where it starts in that ghost town in the desert. But it was crashing for some reason every 5 minutes so I didn't had a chance of playing it further. I'm also not a big of zombie mods, especially when it comes to GTA because of how janky it feels. I mean, if it were played and felt like Left 4 Dead but from third person view then I would play it, but since it doesn't, I don't want to feel that experience on myself. I rather boot up Left 4 Dead 2 with third person mod with some custom GTA converted maps than actually playing GTA with zombies. Unless there is actually some good zombie mods for GTA SA that is not janky.
