Hi Tyler, just a little pointer at the end of your tutorial you said “break it down sinead style” but the lead singer of the cranberries is is the wonderfully talented dilores O’Riordan, this great tune has very political under belly and I believe in some parts of Ireland you would not be allowed to play but even without its political undertone stands alone as an amazing rock song! Keep the tunes coming Tyler you messiah of the ukulele you :).

Oh and if you could do a tutorial of linger by the cranberries would be great too

I knew it had some serious history in Ireland, but I didn't know Dolores was the lead singer, I am sorry Dolores! Thanks for the heads up, I should do more research on the band and not just the music, and most importantly, thanks for watching to the very end!

That is the other song they did! I liked that one even more.

Yes its a gorgeous tune, she has the most amazingly haunting voice where you can feel every emotion she sings, puts her in a small group of very talented singers the likes of Karen Carpenter, Annie Lennox, Tracy chapmen etc.

I'm struggling transitioning fast from D to Em. Any tips?
@TenThumbsProductions Жыл бұрын
Yes, it stead of focusing on face focus on smooth. I know it sounds funny but it’s like the navy seal saying, slow is smooth smooth is fast. If you can get it smoothly your muscle memory will allow you to speed it up, at first eliminate the strum pattern for those two chords and change them with just a down strum on the 1st beat, once that is smooth and clean add the strum.

why do chords sites from google say Em is just string 1-3 (starting at bottom) while you show an image saying also string4 in section 4?
@TenThumbsProductions4 жыл бұрын
aziraphael0 you can play either, which ever one is easier. The open G string is a G note, which is in the E minor. The 4th fret is a B note, which is is also in the E minor chord. The e minor is E, G B. Either one you would like.
@aziraphael06904 жыл бұрын
@@TenThumbsProductions thank you for the detailed answer and your great videos! :) /edit: open G string is easier to play but 4th fret sounds closer to the original song. i was confused if it is maybe a different note (em7 or something if that even exists)
