Keep in mind, Giselle's blood works on soul reapers even if they are alive, it is only for other Quincys that they have to be dead. So Toshiro could still be alive even though he is a zombie. I guess we'll see next week

Yes you see a shadow come up to him when he fainted on the floor that was Giselle and she poured her blood over him. She made him into a Quincy solider so she changed his outfit since he’s her Trump card. Although it’s funny because when Rangiku, Rose, and Kensei transformed into zombies by her too they kept their shinigami uniform. That shadow was Giselle and he turned Toshiro into a zombie and just changed his clothes into quincy outfit since he is now a part of quincy army. As he said, to turn a shinigami into a zombie he doesn't need to kill them, he just splashed some blood on Toshiro and he became a zombie. 🤷‍♂️

Soul Reapers don't have to be dead to be made into a zombie. Remember Kenpachi's squad was alive when Gigi splashed them with her blood. Quincies on the other hand have to already be dead for her blood to work on them.
