About Zombies:
There's a new crew of monsters at Seabrook High, and this time, they're not taking no for an answer. Zed and Addison have to deal with the newcomers but this proves to be a challenge for Zed, who has just started fitting in with the humans. Zed and Addison face a new challenge and manage to put their differences aside, but Seabrook and Zombietown aren't on the same page. Disney Channel’s "Zombies 2" comes fully loaded with a brand new soundtrack, amazing dance moves, and a unique band of exciting actors. In the earlier days of Seabrook, settlers fought off a group of werewolves from a moonstone that they have since kept hidden underground. In the present, time has passed since Seabrook and Zombietown settled their differences. Zed plans to ask Addison to the prawn, while Addison works to become the new cheer captain when Bucky steps down to become president. Due to a road incident caused by Zed's prawnposal, the bus carrying the cheerleaders crashes into the nearby forbidden forest; Addison and the cheer team see the werewolves. When they get back to Seabrook, the whole town freaks, and the mayor reinstates the anti-monster laws. This notably means that the zombies cannot go to prawn. Zed realizes if he runs for president, he can change things for both the zombies and werewolves.
Meanwhile, the local werewolves are getting sick. They have moonstone necklaces which give them the werewolf abilities; without them, they can die. These moonstones are losing their power, so they need to find the moonstone in order to recharge their necklaces. Prophecy states that a girl with white hair, called the Great Alpha, will show them where this moonstone is. They begin to suspect Addison is the Great Alpha, so they enroll at Seabrook High to get closer to her, which Addison welcomes with open arms. As the werewolves are in Zombietown, Zed tries to rally the wolves to help him win the election, but they do not see the point of changing who they are to fit in. At cheer practice, the werewolves join in; as Zed and Eliza walk in, they suspect that Wyatt, one of the werewolves, has a thing for Addison, which makes Zed jealous. Addison follows Zed out into the hall, and they get into their first fight.

okay so just dumping right here: -in this first movie it takes 4 syllables (2 being the same) to say the zombie equivalent of love. it take a whole rap verse to say “i’m hungry”. in some scenes Bonzo is saying things that the other chacters translate to a lot of human sentences, in the a little bit more of the time the rap verse took. in the second and third movies, the zombie language seems to be shortened or sped up becuase bonzo and bree and other characters speek it and speek more human sentances. this emplies zombie dialect has either changed because of the new human language and need to interact with humans. this also begs the question how did the language come to be if all the zombies were effected by the line soda mist, how zombie children either came out as zombies (zed and zeds sister) or if it’s now just a gene. this also asks the questions how the zombies even know english or if the Z bands allow them to know other languages and learn them, but then Bonzo comes into question. and in the second languange the principal refers to the zombie language as “a dead language” (and there are other jokes or scenes wich imply the zombies are corpses come back to life wich we know is not entirely true because of the beginning of the 1 movie, but we also saw a zombie hand digging out of the ground in the same beginning shot but that’s another can of worms) not to mention how even the wolfs somehow know the modern day english bit any english at all considering how they are supposedly Seabrooks (where’s the sea?? we were never shown a sea just a lake at best) equivalent of native americans. and how the pack we are shown (of teenagers and maybe pre teens) seem to be the only pack of wearwolfs meaning all the others have gone missing, left Seabrook, or died. in this essay i will- -the way addisons white hair is treated as a weird and ostracized/bad thing at the same level as zombies, who were not only segregated but seemed to not only not have good access to good water but good food amoung many other things??? and the whole town just decided to not hate zombies because one kid was good at football. -zombies has some bangers and is entertaining to watch but it is so weird how addison is a white savior in every movie, zed seems to be the “good minority” in zombies 2 and 3, and eliza is siding with zed in this scene and in others. isn’t she’s supposed to be the activist freind? and ik zed is liked by the school and popularity and everything but wouldn’t eliza or someone make a better zombie class president or whatever it is?? and why is addison’s white hair on the same level of minority as a literal zombie who, until 1 year ago at this point, couldn’t even go to the same school, wear whatever clothes he wanted, have good access to water etc etc… i know this is a kids movie but still.

i think disney tackled racism the best they could with these movies but i can definitely see how in the second one a lot of people were mad about it. in the beginning it's a monolouge from zed and addison telling the story of seabrooke's first settlers and how they "fought monsters to protect a precious resource the settlers found" it is very similar to how europeans came america, took native land and started wars over resources

First movie, the zombies are an allegory of POC during the civil rights movements, the town are segregated, one section is in shambles and they are finally able to attend the same school, still segregated and hidden away with few resources. Second movie, the werewolves are an allegory for the native Americans, seen as savages and monsters, land and resources stolen and driven to a reservation, and pushed to conform. Third movie, literally aliens, an allegory for immigrants, when they arrive they are seen as a threat and untrustworthy, even though they are just refugees. All three movies are about accepting people for who they are and learning to live together. The entire series is an allegory about racism and ending it, unfortunately in trying to convey that message it still comes off as a bit racist. But, maybe I am reading to much into it.

There were tons of pocs in one and two. I haven’t watched enough of three to say. Sometimes it doesn’t matter the color of the actors and just their chemistry. These have perfect chemistry so imagine them any color you want. I think it’s extremely racist and offensive to constantly say white people need to go away. There’s very few white white people in the world. Even I who look white am also Asian. Pretty soon, the big bad white people will be completely extinct so we don’t have to worry about it.
