The most realistic zombie scenario is that some brain disease causes humans to become feral, in which case they are just dumb humans. Not zombies would absolutely destroy them with tanks, guns, air support, etc....

As a Tunisian, I hate to be the party pooper but Tunisians are one of the people with the least guns per capita, the dictator regime made sure we stay that way, even hunting permits are rarer which makes hunting rifles even harder to get!! Since we have a lot of migrating birds all year that are protected by the government, farmers and policemen are the highly likely to own guns, then hobbyists like hunters, then normal people. I believe even real life lore said that his fact of Tunisia in his video "facts from every country" is that Tunisia has the lowest guns percentage.
