It’s sometimes funny to remember that back when BHRM5 was still a new game, the AI had no accessories, only had a Scar, and were very limited to what they were able to do. Not to mention the grind to get a better gun like the m249 (if you remember that lmao) via exp and not cash

the developers confirmed in the trello that the gamemode is NOT going to be a wave based survival such as cod zombies, instead its more likely an openworld with zombies or an extraction type gamemode with some left4dead type gameplay

I saw some theories that the zombies mode is based off of the failed raid against the nuclear bunker where NYC gets bombed and that the missile was a bio-weapon. So basically an alternate timeline I guess?

Personally for me I don’t think the update will be out for a while I’m talking like at the least late summer. I agree with what your saying Mike I don’t want it to be like every other zombies mode if they want it to stand out they have to put their own twist on it.

I was a “late game” shadow raid player. I was so close to getting the platinum star but didn’t really bother until the game updated. I can’t wait for the new zombies!

If they make it wave based, there has to be no intermission like in those who remain. I think you should be able to unlock bases to defend ranging from easy to really hard (maybe easy being depot, quarry, and police station even though that's not a raid location). That way, the devs can utilize brm5 lore in some way and the players are on a familiar map. I feel like wave based zombie games are boring and way too easy, as well as unrealistic (zombies will not have some kind of break time for the player to refill his ammo and medical supplies)

i have an idea, what if the start of the gamemode was a cutscene of you in a mission slowly walking to your enemy but then theres a zombie that bites him down and then you kill that zombie (ofc) you mark a flare for extraction but there is no extraction because the FOB is already infected so you manage to steal a car from the POD’s but as your going your car runs put of fuel, and then you find yourself near a house with supplies and ammo. you see a heli pass by (little bird) the pilot says “quick get on” and once your in the air you see all the zombies that were swarming the house. the pilot brings you to the bunker which is a refugee thingy and you have to complete quests and missions and retake the whole island (idk if it should be solo or multiplayer)

I wish they would add back the M249 not only for nostalgic reasons but for more realistic reasons also. All the devs have to do is make it more balanced so your slower with the m249 the. Your good. The m249 would also be amazing for factions since you can assign certain people to be squad gunners. That would honestly make me pretty satisfied.

yeah if you want to rp as a squad with assault troops, a sniper and a squad gunner, you're basically limited to using the ak74n with the 45 round mag as an rpk74 with a short barrel. imo they should re-add the 100 round mag to the g36 but only give it 1 or 2 reserve mags and a permanent affect on mobility.

I get why u want that bc of settups for countries and that but as a c7a2 owner i would be kinda sad that it wouldnt be special but tbh it will be amazing for the ppl that want that gun bc their country uses it. Now j Just hope for a c7nld conversion kit in brm5 bc damn that thing slick af. But i wouldnt be mad if they did, in the end the game is for fun and roleplay and being able to roleplay the militairy of ur own country would be sick and that gun being limited would ruin it. So i hope they do it. And i still have the aug a 1 as a trophy 😊

@@varafin screw the new guys. We fought tooth and nail against RNGesus to get the C7A2, having it lose it's rarity by making it a wave reward gun would be spitting on the OGs.

Some info btw: the zombie mode is not gonna be like cod and I think at some point on of the devs meantoned that its gonna be in new york, and the lore behind it is that the missile of the bunker on ronograde get launched at new york (with the zombie virus on board).

i would like for example your out in the forest and there's a truck but you need to find parts to repair it like fuel, tires, spark plugs etc. once the truck is repaired you and your team can drive off but have to shoot their way out too. (truck could also be a helicopter)

I just cheesed the zombies mission solo with the a10, all you had to do was crash into the place nose downward then hold down the trigger and it kills all zombies
