Family Lying Face Down in Living Room is an incredible track, and possibly Lauren's best work in my opinion. However, I think it's safe to say that 99.9% of Lauren's work are masterpieces.

This feels like i'm an outsider from this world, like in the album attention shoppers and the child protective services one, you could feel like you where inside what was happening, it was strong, fast, colorful, relentless, but here it feels like everything is being watch from an outsiders perspective, and everything is more cold, and slow and analytical, and a little more sad, but both still have this surreal feeling to them, is weird, but the nice type of weird

perhaps i'm a little dramatic when i say this, but i think this is some of lauren's rawest work. colonists feels so bare bones to me but i really love it. i'm not great with musical terms but it feels really experimental to me, it almost feels like a concept album to me. i imagine all sorts of things when listening to these songs. shamu wraith especially, it sounds like sinking endlessly into an abyss in the ocean but you aren't drowning, just sinking.

Oh my God I love this music!!!! It's so weird how so much of this in a way, makes my ears hurt but at the same time, I absolutely love it. It's strange how these kinds of songs make me feel, I sometimes feel unsettled listening to it but it sounds so good that I can't stop. It's almost addicting how these kinds of songs make me feel pain and agony while still being so enticing that I just keep listening! It's the same with all of Lauren's work, it's just sporadic and jumbled up sound at first but after listening to it long enough, you notice a tune, later that tune turns into a song and then into an addiction, it does something to your brain that makes it to where you can hear a song in just remote static, it's all so weird to me. For example in, "Stretched linen over contorted bodies", for the first week of hearing the song all I heard was sound. After listening to it for a while longer I was hooked. I had a strong passion and longing for all songs under the genre of, Breakcore. I don't know what your experience with it is, but that's what it was for me! Ps: I always thought the names for some of these songs were really funny.
