What a beautiful landscaping as usual. Each time I come back I see new things! I admire your passion in beautifying your backyard with pool. That’s a lot of palms. This looks like in Florida! Hopefully they will survive when winter comes!!

Beautiful backyard Sandor! I’m surprised that chamerops can make it in zone 5b!? Your giant grass looks lore like Miscanthus x giganteus than Pampas. Where did you get that Takil?? I’m in zone 6a, Buffalo New York. Right now I’m seeing how the Needle Palm & Sabals will do without heat. All my Trachycarpus are potted but I’m SO tempted to plant them!

I came to look if you have a new video . I was wondering if you know? most palms come out and are free-standing then there are some we have growing where multiple palms seem to grow out of one spot like there is a new one growing out of the old one and there end up being several palms in a bundle do you know if some palms grow like this
@sandorspalms2 жыл бұрын
Hey my friend! Thanks for checking out my video again and yes there are several palm species that grow in clumps. One of my favourite is called Chamearops humilus or more commonly know as the Mediterranean fan palm.

How fast does it take for trachycarpus fortunei and Sabal Minor to grow from seed to at least 2 ft in height? I want to buy seeds from a hardy place I live in northern Massachusetts 6A and I want to plant a trachycarpus and sabal minor in my yard and I think I would wait until 1.5-2 ft from base to frond tip. They have some online in that size but i’m not sure where they are grown I would rather buy a hardy seedling than one grown in lets say Florida or California
@sandorspalms9 ай бұрын
The Trachycarpus growth is faster then Sabal minor. Growing from seed can be rewarding and wishing you the best of luck my friend and thanks for watching!

your yard looks beautiful, I have never left a comment on you tube before but i just had too. Please do something to stabilize your camera. This video actually made me nauseous to the point I had to stop watching it and I wanted to finish it so bad. I’m really not trying to be rude i swear but it made me motion sick watching within the first few mins and this def isn’t typical for me.
