I loved the moments where Anubis just decides to clash with you. It's like the AI is trying to play tactically but you going after it just angers it to the point where It starts playing aggressively as well.

One of the best final boss battles I have experienced in gaming. He was a decent challenge and satisfying to defeat.

This battle is even greater if play the first game first because for a long time you have always been second best to Anubis and during the multiple encounters with Nohman you've been forced to fight to survive. Now however within the catapult you finally have you long awaited true showdown with Anubis where for the first time Jehuty and Anubis are equally as powerful as each other, and so it comes down to pilot skill.

Decent i means he is the harder boss i ever fight and yes that include the boss from the from software game.

Not bad. I used to ZERO SHIFT up to Nohman right before he'd use his ranged burst attack and attack him before he could shoot it on PS2

The fight with the damaged jehuty it is impossible to me in normal difficulty , it is very hard

From 9:43 till 10:10, I want all the Anubis fights have that heavily defensive and mix up spamming Zero Shift to bring true difficulty and real intense PvP feel. That's how that whole fight should be, an even match. Especially loved 10:03 with a full combo clash match.

I love full combo clashes that go high speed, or even combos that last a good few seconds.

3:18 I think it would've been more impactful if it showed Ken all beat up and bloodied up after that .

@@dynaco4_homebase594 agreed, Mars is HD remake 2 (1080p/4k) while there was an earlier HD remake years ago (720p). To the OP, be sure to get the Mars edition.

What difficulty was this playthrough? This Anubis was actually aggressive, defensive, and was doing a few mix ups, even rapid Zero Shifts for jukes and mix ups.

That’s the weird thing when the ai acts how it’s suppose to it’s a great fight I did repeat play throughs on hard tho so maybe that’s why he acts weird for you

Ha,ha,lol,you could tell this frame was just a decoy,it has nothing to do with the original but you still can't win normally so this proves Anubis's superiority and later equality to jehuty through harsh conditions,amazing!

Now i fucking get what's wrong with the whole atmosphere compared to the HD version. They completely fucked the sound design, voices are thin, music is lower. Go watch the HD version it's completely different. What a MESS they did. Fucked up.

It's a decent boss, but the middle part in the warp hole is just grindy and unfun. The difficulty feels artifical.
