The Star Fox 64 Restored OST is one of the many results following the "Gigaleaks of Nintendo" from July 24th and 25th, 2020. Found in the files of the game were not only all of the uncompressed voice lines, but also uncompressed instrument samples for the music, as well as the MIDI sequences used in the game to perform the music. Using the instrument samples and MIDI sequences, I was able to recreate the entire soundtrack to Star Fox 64 in the highest quality we have ever heard.

No lie. Zoness music is probably my favorite in the game. It really captures how messed up the planet has become I wish Starfox Assault would have orchestrated this song. Just IMAGINE the sound that would come from it!!

a bitter irony that this is one of the songs that would be diminished the LEAST by being slowed down like 50% as all the other SF64 songs were. It's so melancholic compared to the rest.

The planet is in horrible shape. Fox is focused on the mission, Peppy is shocked, Slippy is disgusted and Falco is completely devastated… (was he about to cry or is it just me…?)

Zoness’ music has always stuck with me since I first played the level. Other songs like Area 6, Meteo, and Macbeth, give you the drive to fight Andross’ army and feel justified. Zoness is different. Zoness is a planet that was messed up because of the war, and you can tell this from the level’s dialogue. Zoness shows the bad side of war, the part of war some people try to hide. The level reflects this, and it’s music makes it more impactful.
