This video is very refreshing to watch. Thanks for sharing. But I want to know how hard it is to cook all this on your own and also do you sell it on your own and how is likely for you to make for this batch?
@bezalea
@bezalea 2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching Kukua. Well, how hard would depend on one's abilities. For me as was fairly straightforward, it doesn't take much to make Waakye, as its just basically two main ingredients. Unfortunately I'm unable to give you figures as I didn't sell this one, I gave them out to friends and family. But just by eyeballing it I can say you would make a lot of profit on the quantity I made, there would be no loss and it yielded more than I used. I hope this helps. thanks again for watching.🙏🏾

My concern is about the salt petre you put in,sometimes it causes running stomach
@bezalea
@bezalea 2 жыл бұрын
Sister Mercy I really do understand you paaa, I know lots of people with same problem. So what you can do is to omit it completely. The only difference would be the colour and that iconic aroma bit it will taste equally delicious. You can also use the sorghum leaves to give you the colour but with that if you not careful you Waakye will turn purple. I will bring you the leaves version soon. Thanks so much for your support 🙏🏾

@Bezalea:God&Food ur waakye reminds me of the best waakye seller in my community growing up, adabraka Dr molten area, so the kanzo is always cheaper than the real waakye and if u are caught buying kanzo , they will tease u all round so we device the science vibe for support , most folks dont like science, so it's not true kanzo is just economical , nothing on science
