Straight too the point,I had mine delivered last tuesday,£2600 only 1100 miles on the clock,from sovereign motor company derby,nice people,great service,happy me,(back too the bike),I feel you described it perfectly,after riding a keeway superlight for the past year I wanted a bit more speed and acceleration so I bouhgt the zt 125 -u1, I agree with everything you said about the bike,I am 68 yrs old and only been riding again after 43 yrs(last bike was a suzuki hustler 250 on l plates)I have still got my keeway but it doesn't get a look in now,I have 90% spondulosis and still feel ok after all day on the bikes and after getting used to the riding position on the zontes I love it,I find the only issue for me is the lack of pannier options because I do carry a fair bit of gear,(tools and everyday shopping),any ideas. Great and honest video well done boys,keep it going please,you where a great help.

i like the u1. saw those bikes just hit the german market. guess its a good thing beta does the import. but while you probally get all the parts from them, if you want to get cheap parts straight from china that could be an issue.if it was avaible when i bought my bike last year, i probally had still decided the same because all bikes with the m545m engine are more common. but if that doesnt matter to you, i think you get a nice bike lookwise and specwise.

How can a bike at that price have tubeless spoked wheels, Upside down forks, Full LED lighting with back lite switches? Being an old git that rides larger bikes i really like this bike. I like the colours and with that headlight unit, it looks like a Hornet from the front. One minus, That the cog shaped fuel cap looks cheap. A nice flat blended in one would look better.

My purchase was based on a lot of research and sealed by this review, Orange and Grey all day long. @@gxkcan__5886 Hello, so around 1 month in and some pretty crappy weather means I have not done so many miles on the U1. A break in the weather this weekend allowed me to lay down 80 miles round trip and the more my confidence grows and the dryer the roads the U1 gets better and better. I love this bike and I think its a great first bike, something that everyone stops and looks at asking what it is; seeming surprised its a not KTM or another high end brand. When I started looking it really was a toss up between the U1 and G1 which my son is now looking at so I will be able to compare the 2 if he goes that route... Hopefully I can get my full access done this year and if the Mrs refreshes her CBT this will move on to her with the ZT310-T (17') on the radar also in Orange and Grey. I have little experience with different brands and models however I am pleased I went with the Zontes as I feel that I have a bike that feels solid and looks great for not a lot of money compared to other brands. The first service is Due in a month and I am genuinely expecting this bike to take a step up again, keep you posted.

@johnredmond76able contact Clements moto first though. They might have one, or ask them to send you a picture of one to be certain.

Depends how tall. Is it quite a tall bike. You may find your shins hit the crash bars, I am 5ft 10& half with 31 inside leg if that helps?

@@motorsforthemasses thanks for the quick reply and for great review seem like I will leave Chinese bike alone. I am 6ft4 with a 36 leg length just really like this bike and was thinking about buying it and see what they are like over the long term.

I’m looking into a CB125R, anything especially good or bad you think I should know if I went for one? From an owners perspective?
@jasoncharlton
@jasoncharlton 3 жыл бұрын
@@youraveragejoe1 had the bike nearly 3 years, easy to ride, breaks and suspension are good, engine is strong. Bought aftermarket exhaust which now sounds brilliant and tail tidy as original sticks out too far. I’ve only done around 2k on bike but has always put a big smile on my face, the only issue I’ve found is the 1st-2nd gear can be a bit clunky. I’m gonna sell mine soon as to lack of use, best bike I’ve owned so far.

@@youraveragejoe1 before I bought mine, I looked at the Yamaha mt125 and ktm duke, which is the same style of bike and ride position. It’s a fun bike and the 150 back wheel gives you a bit more confidence then a skinny tyre bike.

@@jasoncharlton oh okay nice, I’m also looking into the Suzuki GSX-S125 - some well priced used (but not too old) ones on the market, as I’m probably looked at used instead of brand new. I’ll see how I go, but I’ll keep the CB125R in mind

Yes, sadly it seems every video has 2 ads before the actual video starts these days. I think YT puts one in the middle too. I watched a 20 min video the other day that had an ad every 2 mins. I even had time to make tea on one of them!
