No, it is a sport because two or more teams started to compare results and try to beat each other at the same game. That is all it is, that's how a sport is born. How is this in any way different to people whacking balls with pieces of wood and running around in a circle, or 22 people chasing a piece of inflated leather around a big lawn for 90 minutes? These all came about as sports because the participants wanted to be the best at their thing, and to stretch their limits.

cheerleading isnt just to cheer on teams... its a sport in it self! yes its competitive! its a sport! any girl can yell n scream for footy boys, but it takes talent to do this stuff! and about the young girls thing? they do it because they enjoy the sport.. not to do ( beauty pageants! there just like dancers only with more stunts and tricks! dont hate on them!

Wow he said compete with the top cheerleaders in the states and that it's similar in to what they do in the states. Are there not cheerleadering as sport in other countries? That was my first thought. They did great though.

This is a rhetorical question and if you have not been around the world then you wouldnt know what they do or have in common with your country. This makes me want to travel even more.
