Although I don’t have a ton of experience with negotiation games I’ve been wanting to check this one out. Love the theme and I think the hidden information scores combined with negotiation element can make for some interesting spots. Great video - thanks!!

Great video! The game looks and sounds fantastic, Sam. The negotiation options seem to have a great range. I'm going to cheat and say that my favourite of the good doctor's games is one I haven't played but reckon I would LOVE - Lord of the Rings: The Confrontation.

This looks like a super good game that I'm hoping I'll have the money to back on KS! Were you able to play Gussy Gorillas as well? Interested to see your thoughts on that since I would like to pledge to that tier if possible. The game kind of seems like a theme similar to the book Animal Farm in a way since the animals are running the zoo, but there is a zoo keeper there that initially handles it all

Other players don't know for sure how many laurels other players have unless they have been keeping track laurel income. It's not really hidden information, all laurel acquisition is open knowledge, it is just information which behind an effort wall. Systems like this are mildly frustrating to me for a couple of reasons: 1) I will inevitably put in the work to keep track of everyone's laurel count, it makes the game less fun but I can't help myself; 2) those who put in the effort to count laurels will have a clear advantage over players that do not, which I don't think is the spirit of the game.
