I like it! Maybe three templates would be the way to go about it. I am one who likes to keep things simple and straightforward just to relieve the burden on my longterm memory for how a complex plug-in works, but that might just be me.

Looks very interesting! Can you make zoom in and zoom out as a percentage of the effect length and then be able to vary the length ourselves?

That will only work with either zoom in or out; not both.
