Thanks. You can actually normalise the files within the M2 itself via a menu option, before uploading to your computer, and you can set it to normalise during playback too, which can be useful if you want to listen carefully to a very quiet recording. It can be used as an external mic to recent DJI video cameras such as the Action 2, Action 3, and Action 4, as well as the Pocket 3. The supplied wind muff is not very effective but it's not hard to find a "dead kitten" that will fit it.

Hi, yes, absolutely right, one can normalize files on the device but i personally prefer to do that in DAW / DVW soft, supplied wind muff is actually fine, one can just keep it on all the time, in cases of strong wind as i've had in video is better to use different one, indeed. Nice review! Can you plug the mic to an IPad as you use the latter to record the video?

Hi, It works as a microphone with iPadOS apps (Garage Band / Cubasis) but i'm not sure if it would work with iPadOS photo app. Thanks!
