I thought it was great, in the comics Zoom wore a yellow suit like Reverse Flash and rather than doing that in the show and confusing fans they added a twist and made his suit black and called him a speed-demon with a face of death, it made sense for him to pay for his wrongs by having the time wraiths turn him into a wraith himself, which making him into the Black Flash. I thought it was a nice twist.
