I love all these episodes and this one was up there for one of my favourites :) While I agree that Karma was fantastic and played his role perfectly, his impact is very overrated in the cod scene. Enable and Nade both saw very good success with that dynasty. Karma also just did not age well into the cdl/end of the cwl era. If he had all of that success on a different org not named optic, fans would not look at Karma the same way they do. The three greatest players ever are Crimsix, Scump, and Clayster and i dont think its much of a debate anymore.

@@qwwupp4763 the goat convo isnt ab “impact” and if it was clay didnt have much impact or at best he had less impact than karma. karma replaced Clayster on the coL dynasty and they become even more dominant they already were. the OpTic dynasty was ofc dominant before him but they became more dominant with him in terms of how they would beat opponents. maybe they won around the same amount but they definitely became more DOMINANT. not to mention clay is fantastic but hes had some ridiculous rosters aswell like Eunited in BO4 and Empire in MW. You used karma falling off towards the end of his career as an argument which is stupid bc he was on seattle surge who everybody knows is the worst franchise by far in the league during that year, so he never had a chance to compete. if you put karma on empire and eunited they probably still win the tournaments they won. clay was arguably the worst player on both those teams. so yes clay has 3 rings aswell but he wasnt really a game changer in why they won, karma won 3 rings and they were all on lan aswell. as of their peak as players karma also had a higher peak, he has more championships and was more consistent by far. clayster also tapered off towards the end of his career so im not sure why you said that only for karma. and majority if the pros view karma better than clay. theres my explanation bud👍🏻

@@AIPresi Karma was blessed with god rosters his entire career and the minute he wasn’t, he did terrible. He was never the best on his team either. You are using hypotheticals in your argument which is ridiculously silly. Col really didnt become more dominant without clay. Col was stomping everyone with clay and they did the exact same thing with Karma. Tell me what peak of Karma was better than clay please. Clay in aw was better than any version of karma ever. Bo2 was karma’s best year and the best player on that fariko team was Mirx and any player in that era will tell you the same thing. Karma wouldnt have done anything much on other rosters in the cdl era. His time was up. I get seattle was bad, but its not like Karma was still a superstar. He was ass at WW2 and was arguably the worst on the bo4 roster. Clay was definitely not the worst on empire (Eunited it was either him or prestinni) How can you say clayster wasn’t a game changer in his champs rings when he literally hard carried the denial run and was the best player in their series against faze which was their most important match in mw19. You act like aches and crim were the two best players in their ghosts run (karma was arguably their worst player at champs since teepee hard carried the obj work).

Karma was obviously an insane player, but his importance to the dynasty is so overstated. Zoomaa saying they wouldn't have been nearly as successfull without him is dragging it. Optic literally won 3/4 events before Karma even joined.

agreed. I love Damon and he was insane, but its very annoying for people to put him on this pedestal when the other members of the dynasty were just as gross. Scump was by far the best sub and best player during their run and formal was always in the top 3 (mostly 1 or 2) ars for their run. Crimsix was also their main shot caller for the dynasty and he still put up a 1.05-1.10 using both a sub and an ar. Zoomaa says Karma made it easier for Scump and Formal to slay out which i agree completely, but scump and formal slaying out and dropping consistent 1.2’s also makes Karma look even more insane. 🤷‍♂️
