I don't agree with Crim with the whole 1+1 thing. The orgs are paying these players and take a % of winnings ( I know some orgs are taking more than others) but having the option to sell a player and making money from that in order to cater to buying/paying your new player is important. Take like a Neptune for example. Flo didn't make alot from their winnings so being able to sell a player like that is crucial for an organization to keep balancing books

No that is messed up. The +1 is an option. If the team has no intention of keeping the player, they shouldn’t be allowed to use the +1 and hold players for ransom.

@@BuddyChy If you're under contract it's up to the company or organization to do what they will with you. Morally it sucks for the player but organizations gotta do what they need to keep its self ahead. Another thing is you signed the contract if you're top of the league (talent) you can have multiple 1 year deals instead of multiple year deals to avoid situations like org/business holding you hostage. If you're bottom well then you won't be kept around and or desperate for a spot so it doesn't matter.

@@kennynguyen5248 they didn’t sign a 2 year deal, they signed a 1+1 with a team option, but the team shouldn’t be able to use that team option if they have no intention of you being on the roster. That’s abusing power and something the league should prevent. Easier said than done but it’s still taking advantage of players. That’s why they need a players association so that they can communicate and negotiate with the league to make sure the players are treated fairly.

Now you can do a 1 year and a player options but from the looks of it it would seem the players or thier lawyers didn't sign up for that.

Players need to look at negotiations and have some clauses to have some possible gain ( if team isn't looking to use them for the 2nd year they have a release clause of 100k, like a reduced buy out fee to still benefit the org but also give the player freedom)

If you worked all 24 hours for every single day of the year, no break, no eating, no sleeping, you would make $63,510. Even if we gave you the biggest benefit of the doubt and said you spent 6 hours sleeping every day and then a grace period of only 2 hours to do literally anything else in life but play/watch VoD/go over strats every day, you are making $42,340 and we all know that averaging 16 hours spent strictly on CoD without any distractions the whole year is not how it's going to go ever. Someone working minimum wage full time makes $15,080 a year.... So that means that being signed to the minimum, you are making 3.33 times as much as someone working fulltime on the federal minimum wage. $50,000 is enough for a good living as long as you avoid high costs of living. And that doesn't even take into account the hyperbole of putting in 200 hours a week lol.

Not really an important taco but I’ll speak from experience. As a Mexican, tacos are small in Mexican culture. We don’t make hard taco shelled tacos.
