22:20 - the caption is wrong. He isn't working on the toe cap, he's installing a heel counter. This is to keep the heel from falling apart, and to help locate and stabilize your foot in the shoe. As someone who's been getting into boot construction lately, especially hand made, high durability boots this video is fascinating. There are some good things going on with these boots, but there are a lot of bad things too. These are a very modern construction, not like the older styles of boots. I'm wondering how old this factory really is? We have a company here that has been making boots for 125 years, and they are still use about 80-90 percent of that old process. Sometimes the older methods are superior.

Есть одно но, это мембранная обувь, мембрана должна дышать, а они всю ее обклеили клеем, микропоры закупорились. Пар с ног не будет выходить, если носить зимой это вообше ужас, ноги начнут мерзнуть, пар конденсироваться, после привет холодные и мокрые ноги.
