What is the bright light in the tunnel? Allow me to explain.... Upon death all people will see light and very happy you know why? The reason is when we die, that moment our body is disconnected with the body and when this happen we feel light and we see light. That light you see in immediate DEATH is the indication that without a body it is very nice so the light usually those who experience that moment is very happy. But that is short happiness only as your karma are in anuloma and gotrahbu state of mind. These 2 states of mind is like a accountant and auditor checking your good and bad deeds and then decide your destination according to the good and bad karma to take up you next birth. So usually if you go listen to the Near death experience you will hear their confession. All see light in the beginning,feel very happy,after that some realise the happiness disappear and now they saw hell.There are other experience seeing the light upon death then afterward they see their relatives so in buddhist they see hungry ghost or peta. Some after seeing the light then follow by seeing heavenly existence. So the light in death moment is the temporary detachment sensation of mind and and body. The short happines arise in form of bright light and after that karma take over. Can you all understand now? Suki hotu. Buddhang saranam gacchami
